I purchased this as a gift for my partner for his birthday as he is a fan of Le Labo. For me the price point makes it more of a 'special purchase' than something I would buy as an everyday item, and for that purpose it's a winner!Like a lot of their scents, Hinoki is wonderfully unisex with a mixture of earthy and almost floral scents. He loves smelling this good and I am a fan of it too!

Ok I know its up to me to check before buying but busy Christmas shopping didn't leave time so I was extremely disappointed by the tiny size of this shower product especially for the price. I think JL could have photographed it beside something to indicate the small size. It arrived so near Christmas i had no time to change it so resorted to trying to make a joke out of it. It worked out very expensive per shower. Hope it was worth it.

The first time I bought this luxurious shower gel was a few years ago, in Paris, and the smell takes me right back to that little terrace apartment. It’s a rich gel, spicy without that gourmand sweetness, and lathers well in the shower. Your skin will be lightly perfumed for hours afterwards.

I’ve been using this for a couple of years now and absolutely love it. It’s also great for holiday post sunbathing showers. I don’t have dry skin but nevertheless love the feel and smell of it. It is moisturising but doesn’t leave a greasy residue.
I’ve been a fan of Le Labo EDPs for many years but hadn’t tried their grooming range. One smell of the Hinoki shower gel and I was hooked. I’m obsessed with it and find the smell warm, woody and heady in the best possible way. Good quality shower gel, fragrance lingers on the skin and in the bathroom for ages after.
Cleansing, skin softening, nourishing and a bright citrus scent, this shower oil is just gorgeous! The oil melts into the skin turning into milk and rinses away leaving your body moisturised. Perfect for mornings when you don’t have time to let your body cream sink in before getting dressed.
Love this shower gel! It doesn’t irritate the skin and has the most gorgeous woody scent. It’s expensive but such a wonderful treat! A little goes a long way too. I’ve got eczema & acne and it doesn’t aggravate them at all.
Brought this for a change from my trusted This Works-stress check for something a bit different. Smells great, not too overpowering. It’s a nice thick gel that works into a really good lather. I now use this for my morning showers and I’ll keep my other one for night showers.
I received a sample with an order. Just tried it. The little bit that came with the sample, I was first impressed with the lather. I like a sudsy lather and tend to use more. With this, there was no need. Made me raise an eyebrow. The smell, loved it! I did not put any perfume on afterwards, as I used this at night before bed, so I cannot confirm or deny it interferes with that. Saying all this to say, after one use, I added it to my wishlist to purchase. And the price is fair. So, don't let that sway you.
As a fragrance freak who loves unisex scents, this is a new holy grail for me. It’s a low foaming formula and does leave my skin feeling very soft. The scent is a little masculine leaning, but in a warming and sultry way. I did a blind buy on this one and don’t regret it. I like to shower at night and the fragrance is great for signaling to my brain that it’s sleepy time, and doesn’t linger or mix with my scents the next day.
