Let me start off by saying that this is one of the best tools. Period. Sure it doesn't have a lot of tools for the price point but think of it as the tools it does have, is crafted beautifully and strong with attention of detail. The knife is incredibly sharp and I've used it to cut through many things now; it hasn't shown signs of dulling yet. And like everyone else have said, it's easy to open with one hand but safe enough to keep it locked open without accidental closures. The unit also holds two bit pieces, one on the end for use and the other tucked away in the handle. I have not had one problem or worry of the other bit driver slipping out of the holder as some folks have said. I feel like it's snug in there tight. The pliers is strong too with the handles clicking in place to ensure a solid grip. No worries for the handles closing too easily on you, it's built like a tank with plenty of leverage for torque. Finally the carabiner bottle opener is built solid too. Some people may use it to clip on a belt but I find the belt clip plenty useful and long enough for my back pocket. Overall, it looks as great as it performs. What it lacks in quantity in tools, it definitely makes up in quality for what it has. Leatherman says it has a 25 year warranty on this multitool but I can see it lasting a lifetime.

It's light, easy to pocket, has the basics for handling most quick jobs, and is incredibly cool. If you do this properly the storage cavity will become just a little bit narrower, making it much more secure.The Canadian version comes with three dual edged driver bits - flat, Philips and Robertson (the square one). I need all three, which is a problem because the Skeletool will only carry two of them. Fortunately, I was able to trade with a friend my dual Philips bit for a combo flat-Philips bit. That one I always keep in the driver, while the dual Robertson stays in the storage compartment. If anything, I would recommend Leatherman to do something similar for all Skeletools sold in Canada.

This is the multi-tool that I carry everyday. I have other Leatherman multitools that require a sheath and a belt that have more tools, but I don't always wear a belt. I always have pockets and I always have the Skeletool attached. It is great quality but if anything breaks Leatherman will replace it. I loved it so much I have purchased several more as gifts for family and friends. This one was a gift for one of my sons.
