Leatt 3DF 6.0 Impact Black Pants
The upper body has always been well catered for when it comes to integrated protection but the legs often seem to be seen as an after-thought - however, the Impact Pants 3DF 6.0 changes the game when it comes to lower body mountain bike protection. The hips are protected against impacts by flexible 3DF armour while thighs and coccyx/tailbone also enjoy extra protection ensuring you can keep pedalling after a heavy stack. The body of the pants are tailored from anti-odour MoistureCool and AirMesh wicking fabrics to let air circulate and to ensure sweat doesn't hang around. The pre-shaped design provides a great fit and lets you move an react to the terrain under your tyres with ease while an extra-wide waistband and silicone printed elastic leg cuffs keep the Impact pants firmly, but comfortably, in place.

The pants fit nice and snug without restricting movement and the pads are in the right places. They breathe nicely and do well with wicking moisture away. The one thing I wish they would improve is the durability, the perforated material does rip easily when putting them on if you do not pay attention.

Very comfy, you forget that you are wearing it!It needs some caution while putting it on because it's thin, and you may tear it.

I took a chance on these finding no reviews anywhere.1. The materiel that it is made of is ridiculously fragile, you have to be so careful taking it off and on and I still heard rips. There is no way these last very long.2. Disappointed in the coverage of the padding.Leatt has top notch technology and has hit a homerun on other pieces of apparel but this is junk for the price. Surprised they put this out there.-m-2019 YAMAHA YZ125--

6?3 160lb/72kgLarge fits very well.Florida weatherI wouldn?t be rough with sliding your foot in with that material, its thin for a reason. Wicks great. If you?re on the heavier side, a size up will do you well or look at the shorts version because there isn?t any knee protection so the extra length isn?t necessary. I wear hardened external pads for the knees so it didn?t bother me.The pads are in the correct places for me, I hardly feel them while walking/riding. 5.11 work pants on top really brings it all together.Safe riding.
I was looking for something to wear on the hot days, this was the ticket. I wear the knee protection along with these and they're perfect.
Pros:Fits nicely under my clothes, Stretches to fit my build, Almost entirely unnoticeable under my clothes, not too stiff armor pads, air fairly easy, comfortableCons:Mesh areas grab hair causing some very distracting pain (shaving/trimming the area solved the problem mostly)Pads are a bit stiff, some ripping of unseen strands when sliding pants/leggings on,DOES NOT HAVE AN ACCESS AREA TO USE THE URINALMInor fixes would make this a sure-fire win in my book.Adding a double layer mesh with smaller holes may help with the hair pulling. Also adding in knee pads or pockets for them would be awesome.Including a flap to urinate out of would decrease the discomfort of having to yank my pants down around my butt to relieve myself. Then having to hop around ... MorePros:Fits nicely under my clothes, Stretches to fit my build, Almost entirely unnoticeable under my clothes, not too stiff armor pads, air fairly easy, comfortableCons:Mesh areas grab hair causing some very distracting pain (shaving/trimming the area solved the problem mostly)Pads are a bit stiff, some ripping of unseen strands when sliding pants/leggings on,DOES NOT HAVE AN ACCESS AREA TO USE THE URINALMInor fixes would make this a sure-fire win in my book.Adding a double layer mesh with smaller holes may help with the hair pulling. Also adding in knee pads or pockets for them would be awesome.Including a flap to urinate out of would decrease the discomfort of having to yank my pants down around my butt to relieve myself. Then having to hop around looking for my phone because it slipped out of my hand and fell beneath a stall.Do you know how awkward it is to hold hands with a guy sitting on the toilet? While you happened to grab your phone at the same time he did?And don't mention the show as you moon everyone walking into the bathroom.......Talk about a day!!!!!!Learned my lesson don't text and pee while wearing your pants around your legs!
I'm pretty happy with these. Padding gives good coverage and the pads along the top of the hip bones are a nice touch. They're plenty comfortable once on and the full length legs make wearing knee armor or guards more comfy as well. The pants themselves are made of a few different kinds of mesh, some of it pretty light duty. The upshot is the breathe well, the downside is some of the material is lightweight in places do you need to take some care in putting them on and taking them off. They're a little pricey for what they are, but the quality seems high.
The design of these puppies is the best out there in my opinion. Only problem is they run VERY slim in the legs. I'm a big guy 6.2' 240lbs 36waist, I normally wear an XL, occasionally a XXL. I bought both sizes and tried them on. The XL I could barely get by calves into, the XXL I couldn't even get them on entirely either! Sooo yeah... not a great review because the XXL fit like a standard Large. I really wanted to love these for the awesome design styling, but they should check their larger sizes. I understand compression pants, but dang these are tight!!!
I un-packaged these and high hopes of long term riding protection but before I could even get my foot through the leg opening I could already hear stitches being pulled and fabric being stretched beyond is recovery point. Think of a women putting on pantyhose and this is how delicate these leggings are. I tried getting my foot through the bottom leg holes and again more fabric stretch and more stitches being ripped. I was disgusted at the cheapness of these fragile pants. Clearly these were intended for an extremely thin street rider. As for the leg protection, the hip is the only area that has the 3DF hip protection and the rest is only padding (thigh and coccyx). I'm 5'10 / 182lbs and I ordered the medium. Considering the price point of these pants, this product is better left on the shelf.
great quality and fit. On a lot of websites you will read the legs are narrow and wait is wide. I ordered a Large and I have jeans waist size 31. The fit was good.
