I'm a muralist/painter and I work outside a lot, these pants have never torn underneath, they have great flexibility and I love the zipper pocket on the right side, that's where I like to keep my wallet, there's very little risk of it falling out and I keep my pocket book in the left cargo pocket. I started buying these last year, but it seems they're being discontinued. BUT WHY?! These have been my every day pants and I wouldn't switch to any other, unless I'm forced to. I urge the Lee company not to discontinue these God sent pants. Please!

Wonderful pants EXCEPT for the chinzty zipper.Very comfortable!Shooting up the charts to be my favorite pants UNTIL the zipper broke.I got 3 wears out of them with zipper difficulty before TOTAL zipper failure; Disappointing.Previous pair I purchased ARRIVED with a broken zipper, but they had been sitting on the shipping box for 6 months or more before I finally opened the packaging to discover the broken zipper; to late to return, but that was on me.

I have purchased 10 pairs of these pants and I absolutely love them except for one issue that would be easy to correct.Pros: extremely comfortable, sizing is spot on, color options are great, fast shipping, great value overall.Con: the pockets. I have 7 of the 10 pairs where both the front pockets developed a hole within 3 weeks of wearing and washing.I do not keep sharp objects in my pockets that might cause these holes either. A pen is the sharpest object in there. I use to wear Docker 360 flex pants which are good too. But the Dockers are thicker and really hot in a southeast summer. The Dockers tend to fade fast as well.

I really wanted to love these pants but they have major quality control issues. I purchased two pair and the front pockets on both pair ripped at the seams the moment I tried them on. The second issue is the size inconsistency. The first pair I wore fit perfectly, the second pair felt like they were two sizes too big. If the pockets were the only issue I would give them the benefit of the doubt only because my mom is a seamstress but the pocket issue along with the size inconsistency make these pants a terrible purchase for me.
I have been wearing pants from Lee's Extreme series for a few years now. I order a few new pair back in August, and very quickly the pockets started having huge holes and the seam in the seat of the pants started to separate. The pants are not too tight, so the seam issue is not that. Normal light use. Nothing unusual or sharp in my pockets. Yet these pants are falling apart. One of the pair has held up fine. So this seems to be a quality control issue. Very disappointed. When I first discovered these pants, I could not believe how comfortable they were. And, unlike most Big & Tall pants, they fit correctly in all the right places. But the ones I ordered 3 months ago are basically one wear and then ready for the trash.
Lee was always my go to casual pant. They always had the best fit, never too baggy or droopy in the seat and thigh, always just right. In my opinion Lee, you went and ruined your entire line of casual pants by incorporating this stretch material nonsense, and not offering your loyal customers any 100% cotton pants to choose from. These new pants fit good like Lee pants always have, but they just don't have the high quality look and feel of the all cotton pants. So good bye for now Lee, and thanks for the memories.
TSC had these at a good price. I am very familiar with the Extreme Motion jeans from Lee, so I wanted to try these Extreme Comfort slacks. The major difference between the jeans and slacks is that the jeans have a crotch gusset. I wish these did, but the elastic waist makes them flexible enough. A 98% cotton 2% spandex or elastine fabric mix is always nice.Only 4 stars because the build quality is subpar in a few places, nothing that made them unwearable.
If you do crazy squats and waistline is over 40, you know the way most pants fit. You get bigger sizes and they are still tight on the thighs and usually too long. These pants have extra room at the top to fill in and the material is super soft. The 30 length size is actually good enough not running high, it is more to the 31 on other pants if there is such. You can feel the difference as you put them on and then after while walking and bending. Great pants, I hope I can stick with these from now on
Wear to the office. I wore before washing and they wrinkled really bad. My wife told me I shouldn't have! She also told me after washing and drying they wouldn't do that. Right again. A value based pair of work khakis, but very different. Soft to the touch. Soft while wearing them. Extreme is the word. Super comfortable pants. All day comfort. I'm 67 yrs old and still go to the office almost everyday. I'm not a "slim" guy. Never have been. These are 36W 29L. Relaxed fit. They are perfect. I highly recommend them. And they're a good value. There's better quality pants. I have plenty of them. But thei don't "fit" any better than these. Try em
I do like Lee brand above all others. But, how they "fit" of yore is long gone. Now, I am talking about the cut and shaping of the material of 40years ago. They are all too shallow. The very first time I ever tried a Lee jeans, I was impressed how they fit! Description is it "sits at natural waist, but then, just barely. The Lee I remember had just a tad higher lines, but not too deep. I understand manufactures are cutting down on amount of material somehow. All those claim about high-tech STRETCH this and that which, to me, mostly, is a gimmick--they use it to use less material.About the material itself; I have no idea why black(or similar color) material feels so much more coarse and rigid compared to other colors but of the same material. Lighter colors(khaki) is far more comfortable for me. Will see how washing will change the feel of it. I know you are not to use bleach. But, I wear this at my work(restaurant). Just a note of caution;even the slightest of bleach splash will discolor it. Personally, I don't mind.
