Disappointing Sizing Due to Stretch (Plus Size)

I discovered that as the day goes on and I am moving about, I am pulling them up more and more frequently as they stretch, loosen and start to "bag" throughout the work day. This is very disappointing because I doubt that I can fit into a smaller size. I love these jeans and routinely purchase them in every color available. I did note one con about irregular fit. The fit can vary from one pair to the next, but I've never had a pair that I couldn't wear. However, my big complaint is the lack of consistent availability. Why are they so hard to get? I've been trying to replace my current ones due to the need to get a smaller size for several months now and every time I try (in any color) they are always out of stock. The black and indigo ones were in stock briefly in early December. i managed to order 2 pair of the black, but when I tried to order the indigo, they were already out of stock again. I did try one pair of the Women's Stretch Relaxed Fit Straight Leg jeans, but I won't do that again. These don't even come close to being what I would call "relaxed fit". They were snug from the waist all the way down through my calves. It wasn't the size. I could tell that was correct. They just didn't fit like I expect a relaxed fit jean to fit.

I'll probably keep buying this

I spend a lot of time outdoors and practically live in my jeans. For many years, I was able to walk in a store and buy the same Lee style and size each time without ever trying them on. Quality isn't what it used to be. Now the styles and sizing are inconsistent with each purchase. Dept store no longer carries this style so I had to order online. Same style and size, but when it arrived, the waistband was about 3" smaller than the pair I had been wearing--I could barely get it on and zip it up. Even after wearing it an entire day, it is still uncomfortable. I wish Lee would go back to making jeans that didn't have polyester or spandex. Eventually most of the pairs I have stretch out in the waistband so much that I have to wear a belt which I find uncomfortable. ... MoreI spend a lot of time outdoors and practically live in my jeans. Inconsistent sizing

The review options for sizing only offer Very Tight, Tight, Perfect, Loose, Very Loose but no option is available to address "length". I own several pairs of Meridian (3051833) and ordered the same size for Black Onyx (3051884). The Black Onyx are more than 2.5" longer than the Meridian. Even though I stated that the pant leg lengths varied between item numbers of the same line, I was still charged a Return Fee. I relied on my previous experience with Lee instead of reading reviews where others have indicated size variations between the different item numbers/colors of the same product line. I see that Lee Representatives have responded to those reviews and think it's a shame that the product quality issues continue. Who knows, browsing in the retail store may offer possibilities of other brands that may be appealing also.

Instantly slims relaxed fit straight leg jeans

I love the looks, fit, comfort of these jeans. It’s almost impossible to get a good fit by ordering online. No wonder! The choices are endless. I finally decided on these and after reading reviews everywhere decided to go with 14long as opposed to my usual 12. Size 12 is sometimes a little snug on me but I do not have a pair of jeans size 14. 12 is also just a fuzz shorter than I like. So I got my 14s today and they are a good fit, snug but in no way tight. However, the description was wrong. The color is inspire blue not aspire blue. And the fabric is not 98% cotton and 2% spandex, but is 75% cotton, 24% polyester, and 1% spandex. I just want a pair that fits and don’t much care what they’re made of. Still, the fabric is important to some, and by mislabeling ... MoreI love the looks, fit, comfort of these jeans. It’s almost impossible to get a good fit by ordering online. No wonder! Lee Jeans need to be adjusted back to older style patterns
17 October 2023

This jean does not fit correctly in the seat (butt) before it tapers to the leg. I am 5'9", 145# and am not overweight by any means but being 56 yrs old not everything is as perky in the behind and thigh areas as they once were and it doesn't help that I have a desk job and have to sit most my day. When I sit in these jeans they do not account for the sitting pressure of the behind and nor do they allow the muscles to expand around the thigh when sitting therefore they are very uncomfortable. No amount of squatting, or stretching will allow these cotton jeans to give in the right areas. I am having a hard time finding the jean I used to be able to buy about 4 years ago that had some give yet kept its shape when standing back up again. I am having a hard time finding the jean I used to be able to buy about 4 years ago that had some give yet kept its shape when standing back up again. I have tried several material types even with the polyester/spandex in them and those jeans have changed and do not fit the seat or thigh area anymore as well and I have not changed in those areas of my body for the last 20 years. The pattern of Lee needs to go back to the original what ever that was because something has definitely changed and not for the good.

No Size Cosistency
20 January 2023

I don't understand how it is that I can buy the same Model / Item number jeans, and not a one of them fits correctly. I wear a size 26, but the last few times I've ordered, I ended up with one 26 that fits, and one that does not. Now, I have a size 30 that is too big, and a size 26 that fits but is just a little too tight- so logic says a size 28 which is between those two sizes should fit, however I can't even get them halfway onto my thighs, it makes no sense! Also the length is never the same. I've always worn 30" inseam, yet the last pants I ordered were supposedly 31" (which I could live with), yet I had to end up cutting off over 5" of material and hemming them up. I don't know where you are getting these made, or how many facilities you have making these ... MoreI don't understand how it is that I can buy the same Model / Item number jeans, and not a one of them fits correctly. This is absolutely ridiculous, buying jeans should not be this difficult, but it's obvious there is NO CONSISTENCY here. It's disappointing because I've bought Lee jeans for years- they used to be one of my favorite fitting jeans, and it's hard finding good jeans in the Plus sizes.

Not the figure flattering fit I hoped for
3 September 2023

These look like and fit a "boy shape" (no waist/hips/butt) like straight leg jeans rather than bootcut.I'm 5'5, ~140#, fairly fit/slim and wear between a size 8 and 12 depending on the brand (I have a size 8 in [stretchy] old navy bootcut jeans and another pair of old navy in size 10 high waisted that are a bit too snug).I opted to try these in a size 12 and while the waist (and even most of the butt until just before it reaches the back of the thigh) is okay (slightly loose) the bottom of the butt and back of the thighs are baggy (oddly not so much in the front). There's also some "poofing" of material on either side of the thigh just below the hip before it starts to taper down the leg which is probably lack of quality control more than anything (if I'd ... MoreThese look like and fit a "boy shape" (no waist/hips/butt) like straight leg jeans rather than bootcut.I'm 5'5, ~140#, fairly fit/slim and wear between a size 8 and 12 depending on the brand (I have a size 8 in [stretchy] old navy bootcut jeans and another pair of old navy in size 10 high waisted that are a bit too snug).I opted to try these in a size 12 and while the waist (and even most of the butt until just before it reaches the back of the thigh) is okay (slightly loose) the bottom of the butt and back of the thighs are baggy (oddly not so much in the front). There's also some "poofing" of material on either side of the thigh just below the hip before it starts to taper down the leg which is probably lack of quality control more than anything (if I'd ordered 5 pair of the same size in these jeans I'm certain each one would've fit different - it was tempting to try this to find the best fitting pair - I do this at the few retail places left to try on clothes - but that's a lot of $ to put upfront and such a hassle dealing with buying clothes online). The 30" inseam is a bit too short for my liking and the material/wash is only just okay - not loving it like I thought I would from the picture.Pants seem to be designed with the notion that if you're thick in the waist you must be thick in the hip, butt and thighs too which gives those of us with a more slender build really loose, baggy looking pants through the butt and thighs. Pretty frustrating.I usually just get men's jeans since they fit my build better without looking like I'm swimming in them (like so many women's jeans do) but thought I'd see if I could find a pair of comfortable women's jeans that are more figure flattering on me. No such luck with these but I've had worse.I just ordered a pair of women's ultra lux comfort with flex motion bootcut jeans in size 10 hoping that between the stretchy waist and (hopefully) slimmer butt and legs will work for the look/fit I'm hoping for.

I am NOT Bob Kinney, who ordered the jeans for me for Christmas. I was looking for "at the waist" jeans, like I have ordered in the past. Evidently, there's no such thing anymore, b/c I could not find it. The closest I came was "high rise" which is NOT the same thing! I had three choices, two of which were "cropped" jeans/pants! The only choice was what I received. And, despite the fact that they are "high rise," they do NOT sit at the waist. I am constantly pulling the jeans up for sheer comfort! And the pockets!! There are practically NO front pockets; for all intents and purposes there's nothing there! They are only about 3" deep! Who makes a pocket that's only 3"?!
