Elf fashion has evolved for hundreds of years in the isolated tundra of the North Pole. A few things have formed their unique sense of style. For one, they've got to have plenty of layers so they are ready to dodge out to give the reindeer a few carrots in the bitter cold of the Pole. And they've got to be able to pare down those layers when they enter the hot and busy inner workings of the workshop. So, it makes sense that stockings would be important when it came to elf fashion. Some elves wear tights, they work for the cold of the Arctic environment that they live in. The thing is, these though high stockings might work better. They allow for ventilation when elves are rushing around the Gingerbread cookie decorating station. The green stripes work well for a cheerful and colorful look. Pair them with some curved shoes and pop a candy cane in your mouth to make your look complete!
