It's been quite some time since I have enjoyed Lego for myself, beside the occasional sets I have bought my children and subsequently stepped on later when it's in pieces on the floor, this is the first time I can remember exclusively buying myself a set. I have found this an enjoyable set to build and once it's complete it is exquisite to look at. The individual flowers are made from some unique pieces (car bonnets, dinosaur wings as some examples) yet when complete look so gorgeous. I thoroughly enjoyed the booklet teaching me about the individual flowers and I think the initiative by Lego to include some pieces made from entirely plant materials was a fantastic new product! I look forward to collecting the rest of the botanicals. I grew up with Legos, as did my kids. I couldn't resist this set though. We actually got it for my daughter's birthday. She LOVED it and admittedly, so did I. I want a set for myself now!As per usual, Legos sets have impeccable instructions. The booklets are easy to read and understand.One of the things I love (and learned) about this set is that the pieces are actually made from other sets... like some of the leaves are actually wings from other sets. Also the colors are so pretty and the structure of the flowers and leaves are so well done. I don't know how Lego does it, but I am glad they do!I'd definitely recommend getting this set for yourself or as a gift.

This is a personal flaw I will need to address.

Beautiful set. As others have commented online, the lavender is a bit delicate. However, once you get this set built it is gorgeous and strong. I expected the 3 roses to be beige based on photos I saw, but in person they are a neutral blush/pale pink which I really like. The build did not take long (about 2 hours). The set can and should be enjoyed by older children and adults, but has many small pieces that may be difficult for some to put together. Such a fun replacement for fresh or dried flowers!
This Lego set makes for such a fun project. My partner and I build them together. My mother loved how they looked so much that she wanted to keep them for display in our living room. She found a vase that fit the bouquet and they are stilly proudly displayed in our family room. This set would make a great gift for older children and any age of adult. This set does contain some rather small pieces that could be be easier for small children to lose or ingest. Aside for the small pieces, I think this product could be enjoyed by most age groups. It would make for a fun family project or a nice activity to keep oneself busy. The finished flowers are very pretty.
I bought this set for my wife for Christmas (we had joked that she's the only one in the house without a LEGO set). She assembled them herself over the course of two or three evenings and the results are really amazing. She enjoyed the process and liked reading some of the history on the various parts included in the set. The details are incredible when up close and from far enough away they could easily be mistaken for a nice flower arrangement. The most difficult part was trying to arrange them. They are WAY heavier than real flowers and it was tricky finding a vase of the right size and weight. We ended up putting some glass marbles in the bottom to allow for some additional stability for the "stems". Overall, a great gift! Highly recommended.

Less glam but still lovely and classic to our taste.It took us about 3.5 hours to complete the set (we made an instruction video out of the process. So you may complete it faster whiteout the hassle of video taking and the preparation process. My 8-year-old daughter can’t resist the temptation of building it together with me. Even though she was intimidated by the 18+ age recommendation on the box at the beginning, she finally agreed that this set’s difficulty level is moderate, or fairly easy compared to the amusement park LEGO set she constructed independently 2 years ago. So, parents, please ignore the “18+” age recommendation and go ahead with this set for your kids or yourselves!Which are our favorite designs out of the bouquet? It’s really hard to judge as every single piece of the flowers is uniquely beautiful! Placing them in a clear vase created a life-like look. Our both kids and even my husband wowed over the final masterpiece and commented that this set is well worth the purchase price and time spent. As described in the instruction manual booklet, it is such a “relaxing and rewarding building experience that provides you with a bright, joyful and distinct display piece”!A special secret came with the set? About 80 out of 756 pieces in this LEGO set are made from a plant based plastic, produced using sustainably sourced sugarcane. This is a mission made by LEGO to make their bricks from sustainable sources by 2030. Why do we call it a secret? Because this is only explained in the instruction manual. Not a single word is mentioned in the box. If not read carefully, people can easily overlook it without knowing. BRAVO Lego!
I bought this set for my partner and she loves them! I did the build myself but she gets to display these beautiful flowers in her work office. We both couldn’t be happier with the end result. We used a half gallon mason jar as the vase which seem to fit the size of the flowers wonderfully. The build itself went pretty smoothly with an average challenge level. Dealing with a lot of small pieces make it a bit delicate while building but the ingenuity of the design cannot be scoffed at. The instruction booklet gives you information about the flowers you are building along with the designers behind the set. The color portrayal of some of the pieces in the instruction booklet are off but it’s obvious what pieces should be used. It is ranked harsher as well because it is not a good set to do anything else; and the building process is not the most interesting. I bought this as part the birthday present to my wife, and I would say the reaction I got was lukewarm at best- she doesn’t quite share my interest in Lego but I was hoping this is one set that she would find interesting; nonetheless, we did spend 3 relaxed sessions building it. While I still enjoy them, and really like the colour (i wouldn't trade this for red, personally), the outer petals’ (car hood pieces) rigid, rectangular 1x2 anti-studs just really stick out like sore thumbs to me. It is noteworthy that in the smaller Roses set (#40460) lego chose to go with small “car roof” pieces for outer petals (which is already used for inner petals); from the pictures it also doesn’t look to be a great solution. I had also been intrigued by the snapdragons, and they turned out to be my favorite with the colours and shape- even if they don’t exactly look much like the real flower. The surprise of the bunch is the California poppy – it’s very simple but has such vibrancy to it. The leafy builds are not super appealing in my opinion. The much-hated black background of the manual didn’t make that big of a difference for me, but I do enjoy the additional info– love to see more, like every page – those who are not interested don’t have to read them.
