My Grandsons have these. They are easy for them to handle and put together. These help to enhance their creativity. They play for hours and use their creations with other toys such as their cars and action figures. It was was definitely worth the price.

I love Lego’s fun approach to storage. Cause the memes of stepping on a lego brick does cause awful pain when you least expect. The containers look like oversized blocks and some even are oversized lego figurines heads. It makes cleaning up Moore fun for mine when it is putting toys into toys or seems like it

I bought these for my 4 year old daughter on her birthday. This cute little starter set comes with everything you need to make quite a few little lego projects. There is an instruction booklet included to make half of them and the others are available online. My daughter and I sat down and made every single one of them. It's really simple, once I showed my 4 year old how to follow the instructions she caught on quickly and was able to put some of the later projects together herself. The only thing I did not like about this set is that it's not a plastic container. The top is plastic but the bottom is cardboard. It seems durable enough but it doesn't snap into place for safe keeping of the legos. You forget and pick it up wrong and the bottom falls right off. Lego is always wonderful. Building with LEGO bricks promotes spatial thinking and an awareness of proportions and patterns. When a child builds, his mind uses reasoning about which pieces will work best, how they should be arranged, and how big or small the creation should be. Basic LEGO bricks also teach fractions and division. From whole to half and even smaller parts, kids are learning fractions without even realizing it. Physics and engineering skills are also sneakily being developed. When a child builds a tall building or bridge he or she is learning to think in three dimensions, weight, balance and usage supports for these structures must be thought about. She has to figure out which blocks work best in her construction, sometimes using trial and error. Planning and organization are other benefits. Creativity is perhaps the most obvious benefit of learning with LEGO.

No matter the size, shape, or color these suckers hurt when you step on them. That is the reason I give 4 stars. 4 stars for the pain I have had to endure as my kids grew up. Besides this reason, I honestly enjoy watching my kids interact and play with these. About the age of 4 years old my little one has enjoyed . I have seen my kids become so creative and using their imagination beyond their age level. Coming in about 15-20 different colors than the regular Lego brand. The entire set comes with different colors, shapes, and sizes to build what ever your mind runs with. Most come with great idea books to help get you started. I have seen my kid interact with others her age that normally she would not, for the simple fact that she does not like sharing. I bought these Legos from my local Wal-Mart. I decided to buy these for my niece's while I watched them. They had hours of fun with these. I didn't realize when I was buying these that how many options you have these days. they have very cool choices. I did realize that there is a age group reccomendation that's on the box. For older kids Legos are much smaller. I will definitely be buying more in the near future.

Expectations vs Reality
9 May 2020

This product i simply glanced at the part sayinng over 52 different colors and it showed numerous things to build on the box(which looked plastic & isnt) There was no false advertising it just wasnt the good deal i thought. I was getting for that price there were only 3 thinngs in the book to make. Half the stuff showed on the box i wanted you had to go online. I like to by products like a kit and you dont have to spend more time energy and money you hadnt planned on. Normally thats how the leggo projects or perler fuse beads i do every couple weeks when my nephew stay is a blast. If i had read more closely i wouldnt have purchased this product. You could spend a small amount more and get exactly what you want

Not as expected
25 December 2021

Unfortunately this isn't what I thought I was buying. First, the container is not a solid plastic box as depicted, but flimsy cardboard with a plastic lid - we'll have to find an alternative storage box and then the lid will get binned which seems a waste. Secondly, I thought the "classic" label meant this would just be a box of bricks my 4 year old could build her own creations with. It's not - it's a box of very specific technical pieces that are only any good for the list of suggested builds in the booklet - most of which are far too complicated for children, definitely not 4+ as stated.Overall, usual good lego quality, just misleadingly sold and described as far as contents go - and the box feels like a deliberate mis selling.

Not the storage box I was looking for
8 January 2023

I always love buying legos with the plastic storage containers which serve a dual purpose. However, I should have read the fine lines here and realized that the box itself is not the plastic storage box I was hoping for. My mistake! Nonetheless, it’s the typical legos and my kids love creating with them regardless.

You can get double the legos for the same price buying another set
16 June 2021

I bought the medium set thinking it would have both a top and bottom made of plastic just like the large one. instead, I got a plastic top and a carton bottom which won't last long. it's a rip-off! you can buy a carton one for the same price for double the legos. the only reason why one would pay double for this set is so that you can use the box for storage. they contracted a company that sells the same exact empty box in plastic for $24.
