Omg!!! My 3yr olds favourite toy!! He took it everywhere over the Xmas period and plays with it daily, the truck Is a massive hit and he loves to pretend he's delivering parcels as well as building the truck up and trailer full.The blocks are really good quality and hold up very well against the rottweiler, the little people not so much.The only drawback is it comes in the cardboard box and that's it, shame it's not got somewhere to store all these pieces together/separate from other sets.

My Daughter (2 years old) received her truck last night and was immediately enamored with it. She played with it in a very focused manner for about an hour. She kept trying new ways to fit all the blocks onto the truck, and before long she was even singing the ABC song to herself. after a while I added her other DUPLO blocks so we could build a big tower. I noticed that the base assembly of the truck actually connects with the DUPLO number train pieces, suffice to say, she built a pretty neat train.Upon waking up this morning, her alphabet truck was the first thing she ran to. She immediately starting building while I got her breakfast ready.I must also mention the alphabet poster that is included inside. Its very cute and is a must have for any toddlers bedroom.

Great duplo set as it has the whole alphabet printed on the duplo blocks. Bright coloured blocks and quick delivery. Comes with a truck, 2 people and a polar bear. My 2 year old son loves playing with it and enjoys trying to build the blocks higher.

My kid very enthusiastic to buy and play with it, us very happy to see that our child wants something educational which we can use to teach him the alphabet and maybe form words using the cubes........but surprise surprise the cubes are pretty much useless to create words as have 1 letter on the cube...a CUBE , it has more than 1 face so use them.Imagine if someone would've chosen to place letters on all 4 faces of the cube....oh, the learning possibilities.So as a toy 5 starsAs education instrument gets 1 starAs price gets 2 stars and this because they didn't use all sides of the cube to add letters.Overall a nice toy for a child, but a great disappointment as a parent.
My daughter is 2 and she is beginning to learn her alphabet.... So I thought this would be a great starter kit for her as she can play and learn at the same time. LEGO does provides a poster with all the letters for matching ability, what could have been better is if they made the poster using the cardboard box for durability. She loves building with the blocks and saying the letters/counting how many she used. What would make this product even better would be to provide both upper case and lower case letters on the blocks so children can extend their understanding of letters while playing. Another option would be to provide an extension pack of lower case blocks (same colour as upper case) again for children to be able to match letters, extend their play etc...
Excellent product. Fun and colourful as well as educational. My grandson loves it as much as my children loved their Duplo over 30 years ago - which we still have!
Lego’s never disappoints. Bought these for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. I bought him a different set awhile back and he loved them. I bought these as an add on and he loves them. He loves trucks so it’s an added bonus. Now on to learning his alphabet. Plan on buying more for Christmas. Just the right size for toddler hands.
My daughter got this for her 2 year birthday and she loves it. She is learning letters and this is a great way to do this with Lego. Her sister (4 years) is also playing and the plan is for her to use the set to make small words. It is thoughtful of Lego to include the two long white bricks/plates where kids can use when learning words.The color on the bricks are great with a good variety of colours.
As you would expect with Lego being such a well known brand, it all works well together. There are multiple activities here for both the child playing "lorries" and joining bricks and people together on their own, but lots of options of parental involvement to help them learn their letters. As others have said it doesn't let you make words and of course it's upper case letters. May help a child recite the alphabet correctly but that may not be the most important item to focus on. Always worth reading the reviews before you buy!
