I LOVE THIS SET!! The figures are awesome, and if some one wants to build a Lego world, in general Minecraft sets are the ones to get!! Only one complaint...I wanted more track. The reason why is because I feel like with more we could expand the set to connect with one of your previous sets, which I don't remember the name of. OTHERWISE, this set is my favorite Minecraft set yet!

I bought this set a few days after it released, build it, played with it a bit, and then put it on my shelf where still is today. And honestly, in my opinion that's the best place for it. It looks fantastic, and the Ghast is a huge step up from the last one. My only complaint is that it's a bit overpriced.

My son had me order this with his gift card. He's already put together quite a few of the other Minecraft sets. This one was of about medium difficulty compared to the others. What he liked best about this was the moving parts. I felt like you could actually PLAY with this set more once it was complete. Very cool.
This is a great set. I love the ghast fireball shooting effect. It can easily connect to other LEGO Minecraft track pieces, so I have a ride using The Nether Portal and The Nether Railway. This was a perfect addition to LEGO Minecraft.
My 8 year old son is a huge fan of the Minecraft Lego building sets. He was very excited to get this one. He missed a few pieces when he first built it, so he had to go back and figure out where they went. He enjoys this set.
I have heard about "Steve going into the Nethers" since 3 minutes after Christmas and we finally bought the set this weekend. He was able to follow the directions and get it put together himself. *WARNING* the Gast (the white ghosty guy) shoots out his fire/smoke disc with a lot of force so make sure he's pointing a direction where you are likely to see where the disc goes (you only start with 2 discs).
My kids are obsessed with Minecraft and I have no doubt they are going to love this set (along with the many others purchased for Christmas)! My son especially is in a lava loving phase so anything that has anything to do with lava will be a big win for him - I personally love the giant Ghast in this set. Also an excellent price, as I purchased it on sale and scored a promotional gift card for a certain amount worth of LEGO. Well worth it.
A perfect set with plenty of pieces and great minifigures. The ghast is new and interestingly built, the baby zombie pigman is great (and adorable!), the blaze is a nice addition, and you can never have enough Steve's. Especially with the nice armour pieces included. This set includes great accessories, and overall it's a great set for LEGO fans and Minecraft fans. It would look good on any shelf/desk. Thanks :)
there is so much Lego in my grandchildren's house that I wasn't sure how this one would be received, BUT my 6 far old grandson couldn't wait to play quidditch--he needed help from others, and I'm no good at building, so I didn't get to see the final build out and had to leave while it was still in construction BUT!!! I just know that this Harry Potter series is a big hit. Delighted that there were so many figures with this set.
