LEGO 31147 Creator Retro Camera

I normally only buy big 2,000 piece sets, in fact I buy all the big sets, so this set caught me surprise as I had no idea it was coming. I bought it immediately and built it in 15 minutes the day it arrived.The build was basic and fun and due to a low piece count only took 15 minutes.However I loved the little details like manual roll up feature and eyepiece. I kinda wish there were more details like a working button to take the photo and even some kind of lego lens that one could focus or zoom with. That takes me to my bigger point. Love this kit, it is exactly like a camera my dad had when I was growing up even down to the colourful strap. Then retro detailing is great and the fact that you can open it up and put film is just add to the nostalgia. I love the little lego pictures too, like reviewing your holiday snaps. The fact that this can then become a camcorder and an old rabbit eared TV just adds to the quality of this pack. Great value for money and a fun build.

Such a fun kit! I bought this to give the finished build as a gift to my photographer father, I enjoyed doing the camera build and am impressed by the details on such an affordable kit.I did not attempt the other two builds but did keep the instructions in case we want to try the three in one aspect in the future.The build was quick the instructions were easy. I highly recommend this to any one interested!
