You can attach it to any kind of apparel or a backpack, and show off the design. It does not come with a needle and thread though. It's great that you can reuse the pieces and change the design as many times as you would like. The possibilities are endless! I would highly recommend this Lego Dots stitch-on patch set if your kid likes crafts, Legos, and fashion design.

The pieces stay on pretty well, and there are so many combinations of little designs you can do. I am a little apprehensive about sewing it onto clothing, so I sewed it onto my child's backpack instead.

There are loads of designs that you can make with the ability to change it up everyday. The only criticism I have is that it does not come with the needle and thread. A complete kit would make it more convenient. My daughter loves Lego dots!

Plus, it's very lightweight for those who do want to wear it on their clothes. It's great that this set includes a variety of Lego pieces, varying in shapes and colors. This allows you to really get creative and change your design, as you please. I was also very happy to find that the Legos attach firmly to the patch, so there is less worrying that they will fall off. The only thing I wish that would have been included with the kit is a needle and thread as I do not sew and have that handy. However, that is clearly stated on the box. Overall, I am very happy with this product and recommend it to others.

I wouldn't be comfortable sewing it onto something that would get bumped into or that was very flexible for fear of losing the Dots but I'm going to sew it into an extra cosmetic storage bag I have. I think it would be great for use at somewhere like a restaurant when your kid is complaining and you don't want them on a phone or tablet.

It's a small kit, really just enough to spend a short time designing a sew on patch for a jacket or backpack. You get 95 pieces, which is admittedly a lot. The cool thing is that the kit comes with a few ideas to get you started. It's a good gift for an elementary school child, or really anyone who loves Lego. It's priced very reasonably and is high quality, as you'd expect from the Lego brand.

LEGO gives you lots of pieces to decorate with: almost 3x more than there are places to put them. I like the material of the patch because it flexes with whatever you put it on, but it is also tough and will endure a lot of wear. I wish they included the yarn or string with it because I only have really thin thread and I don't think that will be strong enough.

I wish the patch came in black or a more neutral color instead of blue though.
