This set is why lego is still one of the best toy brands to this day. The detail is fabulous. Its the closet thing to Indiana Jones after the early 2010s. It was really fun to build and there are infinite ways to play with. The minifigures were average but everything else blow my mind. From how the plane is set to the amazing looking temple, the plant looks fabulous the vehicles are super fun to play with and the hidden traps were amazing. A must have for any lego fan.

I love this new theme especially the fact that there're 3 big cat figures in the entire range. Similar themes like the City Forest, the police station had a bear but I think it was the only set in the range that came with one.I do agree with the previous review though there isn't much space for all the Minifigures in the vehicles. I think I'll modify mine to accommodate the Minifigures.Over all fantastic theme.

If you only buy one of the Jungle themed sets, make it this one - it has everything!You really are getting the best of all the other sets put together - an amphibious six-wheeled buggy, a larger Land Rover with a motorbike on the back; a float-landing helicopter, one of the new kayaks, the new snapping plant, a fantastic leopard, a crocodile, and a crashed plane and temple site to explore. My 6 year old grandson asked for this at Christmas. I was surprised to see the end result once it had been built. It’s a lot of money and a lot of box for a relatively small construction. He loves it though and that’s what matters.Smyths delivery was very quick. The items were well packaged and the prices were competitive. Will buy from smyths again
Bought this for my 9 year old grandsons birthday. He was ecstatic and couldn't wait to start assembling it. I get regular progress reports from one happy boy. A lot of detail in it. Thankfully I got it at sale price or i wouldn't have been able to afford it.
Bought for a Christmas gift for an 8 year old boy, who I am certain will make up many different games and scenarios with all the different components in this set. The Inca tower and plane wreck look particularly good!Looks good from the box, and one of the better value sets.
This is a really cool lego set. The temple has two awesome functions. If a scientist was to grab the jewel, there is a lever to push the scientist into the water feature, where the croc awaits him. The other feature is, if you pull on the vine, it will deploy the boulder function. On the old, crashed, cargo plane, you can open the cockpit to reveal a snake and a crate of gold. The leopard function is a push handle on the back. The vehicles are exceptional, except the helicopter. It needs more space. The price to piece ratio is poor. Since it is 813 pieces, it needs to be around $80.00. This is a neat Lego City Set.
I bought this for my sons birthday. It was fun to put together and looks good once done. Lots of little animals and people with it. Box was bigger than i thought and i got it cheaper than it was meant to be. Would recommend it to anyone who loves lego.
This is a great set. Lots of nice pieces to put together rather than just one large item. My son's favourite piece is the motorcycle and I like all the animals. There are 7 minifigures in the set which is great for imaginative play and creating stories. The age range is 8-14 but I think any 6-7yr old who is good at following instructions would be able to put this set together.
We purchased this for our 7 year old grandson's bday last year. Every other Friday he spends an overnight with nana and papa and builds his lego's. This set was over 100 pieces and though its age recommendation is 8-12, Noah had no problem building it. His papa created a jungle scene that he could place his lego's in for play. This set has occupied him for nearly a year. What a hit!
