My 9 year old son loves all things outerspace. I got this for him as a Christmas gift. He was able to put this set together on his own in about 30 min. I am looking at getting him the bigger set from this series.

I bought this as a 'must have' birthday present for our grandson. It certainly lived up to his expectations. As usual with Lego, the build quality and the instruction booklet are perfect and the attention to detail amazing. He was one very happy boy and could not wait to start putting it together!

Where it excels: it’s a fun build with a creative design. It moves smoothly and can handle gravity well. The minifigs are fun as well. Where it lacks: the moon rock and crystals are not secure on the platform. There is a place to put the moon rock on the rover, but that is also not secure and it falls off effortlessly. Lastly, it is difficult to put all the astronauts inside the rover; consequently, someone will likely be left behind.
Lego space has been going for years but children always seem to love it and it's great for imaginative play. I bought this set for a seven year old great nephew.
The set offers a good sturdy build. Lots of play features. Good selection of parts. The only downside are the wheels of the vehicle which are not designed for a kid to roll the vehicle around. But overall, a good space set.
Small boy loved it. Well packaged and delivered in good time. Great Lego product, super playability, never disappoints!

Speedy delivery from John Lewis and a good price . Bought for my grandson . He is 6 and a Lego enthusiast. It was a relatively easy build for him . Figures were a little fiddly to get in the rover . However a sturdy build and he enjoyed building it . It s now on the shelf with his other space themed Lego looks very good .
Purchased as a gift for 7 year old. He was excited to receive it and I was told he played with it all day on the first day of building. Would highly recommend.
