I've owned every TIE fighter set Lego has released over the years, this one is hands down the most complex build and detailed. The smooth Grey wing outlines, perfect. It adds so much more character to the set than previous versions.The build was definitely more on the time consuming side. It took my wife about two hours or more over three nights to complete it. I expected the smaller size to be a faster build, but we were both pleasantly surprised at the build time we gained.Will definitely be buying more to construct a small fleet for display! Grab the set, it's a steal of a deal and a fantastic addition to any Lego collection.

The only 2 things I could possibly say in any kind of negative way is #1 in the packaging I received for a star wars tie fighter stand, I received directions for an IKEA shelf kit. Was not a huge deal as it was very easy to put together and pretty straight forward. I only mention it as if the wrong instructions were sent with a more in depth case or stand that may make it difficult. #2 as an AVID Lego collector, it would have been great to see the studs used be actual Lego studs. I bought this set discounted at $32.00, and I’d say it’s a great deal. Compared to the previous cost of other lego tie fighters this one is way cheaper and while its a somewhat downscaled build I think it looks fantastic and honestly seems closer to the size a TIE fighter should be compared to a mini figure (not sure how it actually scales) Im a big fan of the way it looks, especially when compared with its partner set (The downscaled Luke’s Xwing) that in my opinion has a good mini-figure value, but over all doesn’t look very nice compared to previous X wings. Over all this was a nice build, the wings can get a little repetitive, especially when building multiple TIEs like I did, but it’s very sturdy, good for play, and retains the look. This was a Christmas present for my child. The joy of seeing their faces when they saw the Star Wars LEGO was priceless. Being a 8 year old it did take my child a good amount to of time to follow the directions, sort the 432 pieces and build it from the instructions . However, it was easy enough to no need any help from an adult . The packaging is such that the pieces are placed in convenient bags . Once built , it forms a solid structure and does let the kids play with the built imperial fighter and fire bullets. The moveable part and the firing part of the built makes it super fun. The mini figures help in creative play. They have other LEGO which they include in the pretend play. Fantastic build with many different plates compared to other Star Wars builds. It isn’t a difficult build however it does provide different part usage which is awesome.The mini figures are great and a good contrast. The storm trooper and the the tie fighter pilots features are fantastic and go very well with the build.The Tie fighter itself has fantastic ‘Swoosh’ ability ( ability to hold and fly about in the hand making flying noises) and I simply love the green lazer shots that you can fire !!! The colour scheme is in with the keeping of Star Wars and we would highly recommend this build.
We purchased the lego imperial star fighter for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. He loves building lego sets and the directions made it so easy to assemble. I love the way lego gives detail to these builds. They are amazing. My one criticism is the price. Legos are very expensive. So expensive that I think people who are poorer would never be able to afford such awesome creations. I think lego should consider lowering the prices so that people of all economic strata can enjoy their wonderful creations.
I am an adult builder, and I am returning to a childhood hobby of Lego building. The Lego Star Wars Imperial Tie Fighter 75300 is a good set to put together and hang from the ceiling or sit on a shelf with a collection. However, if you are a builder and/or owner of Lego Tie Fighters from former series purchased at least 1 decade ago, you may be very disappointed in the size. This Tie Fighter is smaller and not as menacing as a past Lego Tie Fighter I have in my collection and costs nearly the same price as one I purchased for one of my sons 10 years ago. Thus, if you can, get this set on sale.

Compare to the larger variants scaling whilst there prop and cons for each this new tie fighter is easily the best set that has captured the spherical shape of tie fighter that is iconic to its look. All though there isn’t much room in this model for a detailed cockpit I do appreciate the small details that are accurate to the source material. Very impressive for this price point.The cockpit is a tad too big for the model in terms of accuracy. The front shield cockpit piece is the same size you’d find on the first order and striker tie fighters maybe a smaller shield could have been used. I always buy "matching family" gifts for holidays. It's a tradition I had growing up that my mom would do, so naturally I'd continue it. Bring in this last year, Christmas 2022, I got my fiance and his kids each a Lego/block set. This one was the one I got him, and he LOVED IT. Took him a bit, so it wasn't *too* easy, but definitely not so challenging. perfect for just relaxing with for a bit. Now he's addicted though and it's working his way through all the ships!
