LEGO - 75312 Star Wars Boba Fett’s Starship

I just got done building this bad boy during some breaks whilst working from home.First and foremost, I do not care what it is called. I understand they are trying to rebrand due to the negative connotation of the word slave, but this factor does not matter in any way shape or form for this review.I have always loved boba fett and his infamous ship as a kid. I recently got back into legos and wanted to build one of these since my set from when I was a kid is long long gone. I was upset to find that all these sets were 260-1000 for a brand new in box lego makes sense, I collect figures and comics too, condition, resell etc.I was delighted to find this amazing mandalorian set for only 49.99. The set arrived quickly and was packed very securely with bubble and everything.I had an awesome time building this set. It comes with an awesome stand, Mando mini figure, boba figure, slave 1 ship, and sticker set as well!Probably the last Star Wars lego set I will buy for a while!If you do not care that it is a little small and you are looking to enjoy building an awesome set with amazing mini figures, you cannot go wrong here!

Hello Lego and Star Wars fans.Recently I put together my ship after wondering for some time if I was going to be let down. When I got to building it was a blast. The ship seems pretty sturdy, but a hard drop is going to require a rebuilding. The bottom guns are very fragile, smaller fans will lose these quickly.There is a Cart that carries a block that has a carbonite sticker not shown. The cart works well as a stand for the ship. The work on the Minifigs is excellent. I am working on mods for Mandos gun to make it more like the show.Colors are great. The wings on the side rotate beautifully once properly put together. The Boba Minifig sits good in the ship. The first thing I will say about this is that I am not happy with the fact the ship was renamed from Slave 1. That makes no sense to me. That being said, if you are going to compare this to the original Slave 1 lego set, this is significantly smaller than that. The ship is about 1/3 of the size of the original and less pieces. I mostly got this for the mandalorian and boba fett lego figurine. That being said, I will go into that first. The figurines are pretty nice and well detailed. The mandalorian though does not have an actual face piece under the helmet. It is just a simple black piece which is a bit annoying considering we already know what the mandalorian looks like at this point. Boba Fett does have a face under the helmet which is nice. The mandalorian figure is nice and I actually use the spear to prop it up. Back to the Slave 1 ship. The ship itself was pretty easy to build. On a scale of 1-10. I would say it is about a 7 on the difficulty. The only issue I had with it that I can see others having is the spinning pieces on the side. Be careful when adjusting these because they break off a bit too easily. The next thing about this is that there really is not too much room for anything inside the ship. You can fit boba fett and thats about it. There is a stand to hold it up that you can build but honestly it could be better. They could have made one that actually attaches to the back. This one just props it up without any kind of connecting piece. That means a nudge in any direction will cause it to fall over which terrible. It makes it a bit hard to pose as again any slight movement can cause it to fall over unless you are lying it down. There is a small handle that is built into the back so you can play with the toy. The color and detail on the slave 1 is pretty accurate. For the pr.

I really enjoyed this build, and am overall happy with the final model, but I do wish it were slightly larger than it is. The cockpit is just too cramped for Boba to fit in it comfortably and the canopy cant even close without lowering Bobas targeting scope. It was a fun build with a couple of interesting techniques at least to me, and am happy with the included minfigs. Overall Id say its a decent value for the money, and it really does look great, its just a little on the small side.

First off, it’s a great smaller set. I haven’t built a Lego set since I was a child and it was fun getting back into the hobby with this set. It’s a smaller version but still gets the point across. Especially if you don’t have a lot of display space like me. Comes with two very cool mini figs, Boba Fett and the Mandolorian. If you are an avid Lego collector you won’t be blown away by this set but for value and style I think it’s pretty spot on.

LEGO Star Wars sets vary greatly in price, the larger sets and special edition ones can get quite pricey. This one cost $40 off Amazon and we’ve had hours of fun building it. This one is the LEGO Star Wars Boba Fett’s Starship (75312). As with most LEGO sets the instruction book was easy to follow plus you can view them electronic too. I’ve never really been into Lego as a child myself, however my 7 year old loves it. It now something we enjoy doing together. Set came with 4 bags. I took about 45 minutes to build each bag just to enjoy the build, but Im sure it could be done quicker. Its a very nice set. Good colors, nice proportions, and cool functionality.The minifigs are cool.Being around for the original trilogy Ive always been a Fett fan, and he has a cool custom antenna.

First time I buy a light kit, and I'm convinced. It's not that difficult to install, and it gives life to your lego. It's great if you expose your lego rather than playing with them. Maybe if I have to found an issue is some pieces are maintained with a small tape. Therefore, it may not be easy to remove and reinstall the kit, say if you are moving or if you clean your lego by washing them.

Ready for bounty hunting in a galaxy far far away

The lights were one of the easiest to fit and make for an outstanding addition to Boda's Starship.There are 2 red light strips that light up the wing hubs brilliantly and the white strip for the under carriage that is gives a nice glow to the dark part of the build.The gun lights flash giving them a nice effect to the part of the build that a lot of people didn't like because of being inaccurate to the original Slave 1.The cargo mover gets lights that make it more a a vehicle than just a stand.The only thing I wish there were more of was the light on the back of the ship. You only get 2 white spots for under the big orange clear discs, but the 6 smaller orange ones would have also been great to light up.Well worth the money and finished the build off nicely
