The Ford GT Speed Champions racing set is amazing. A gas pump, a lift, mechanics -- it's all there. My husband has all the Speed racers and he's always waiting for a new one. The cars are tough after assembly and the rubber tires really roll. The Speed Champions really like the actual big cars.

The press pictures don't do these models enough justice; these models are even better in person! Nice attention to detail, given the size and scale we’re dealing with. They’re lighter than the Mustang GT, but just as durable. As with any modern race car, there is little ground clearance, so play on anything than a hard surface is not recommended. Take care when placing the wheels on the GT40; if they’re pushed all the way on, the wheels won’t spin as freely. Still more decals than I would like, but that seems to be the trend with this series. I do wish Lego would find a better way to package the decals, as they always seem to arrive bent or wrinkled. All-in-all, this set makes a wonderful addition to the Mustang GT, Raptor, and Model A Hot Rod Ford family.

You've done this recently with the excellent ultimate Ferrari Garage, so more please!As with all Speed Champions, they have a lot of stickers which isn't everyone's taste, but I have no trouble with them, as working in engineering for over 20 years I delight in fine detail of all types.I do often find the manuals and sticker sheets folded in half in the boxes which devalues the feel slightly, but overall, and excellent set.

I purchased 75881 solely for the 1966 Ford GT40, a car I immediately fell in love with because of the beauty of the design, and I cannot say I am disappointed, having bought and built that car. The mixture of building techniques is brilliant, especially, in my opinion the, the building of the front of the car. My only complaint is the usage of stickers- but with the amount of decals included, I am not suprised by a lacklustre amount of printed parts.The 2016 car is also quite neat, although I must admit I am not a fan of it's blue/red transformation color scheme, although I know many will disagree. Like most of the Speed Champions line of LEGO products this was a fun build. It is fairly easy to recognize the model car being represented and LEGO did an excellent job with using brick and element connections to shape the vehicles.
This product has been on my wish list since they are an older set. Found new factor sealed. Seller was awesome. Great buy!
Really pleased with this little set. I felt that both the cars were nicely detailed, however the GT-40 could have been a bit more rounded in its design. Nice features on both the cars with the spoilers moving on the Ford GT and the nose of the 40 pivoting. Love the three mini figures, especially the retro race suit mini figure. Would recommend for any Ford, or car enthusiast. The build time was a leisurely hour and a half. Great looking sticker sets for both the cars and a nice little podium.
I only looked into Speed Champions after I purchased a couple of very reasonably priced City themed racers. I enjoyed those, my kids liked playing with them, so I thought I'd give this line a try. Somehow the product feels and looks much better than the photos. And it made me appreciate the ingenuity involved in creating these cars with minimal special bricks. The 66 GT is lovely, and I was very surprised by the other as well--I had misgivings about the protruding black at the front, based on the photos. Happy with the purchase.
This was a very fun set to build! The 1966 Ford GT40 was a very interesting build. I like the fact that it came with a race marshal (who I named Manolo) and two drivers (who I named James and Clank). I would recommend this set if you like cool cars and Ford. I may be a fourteen year old girl, but I love cars! Can't wait to see what's next for Speed Champions...maybe a Lamborghini?

I would have prefer the light blue/orange scheme from Le Mans as this is how I remember this car. Still, this one is beautiful! The technic for the hood and the back are interesting, very realistic shape. The stickers are accurate to the real thing and add a lot of appeal to the car. The stickers are nice and there's not too many. The only problem that cost half a star here is the lack of rigidity from the chassis. I add a 2x2 black tile on the windshield to give it a little strenght. The printed logo on the windshield is really cool.The minifigures are perfect. 3 different Ford suits, wich is something I would have appreciated in the Porsche set. The lady in the green jacket would have been perfect with a little Porsche logo or "Turbo" on the back.Globally a very nice set that I recommend, very fun to build and a lot of playing potential. Those will look nice in the street of my Lego city :)
