Also do not tip it upside-down, as the Batwing does not actually lock into place for the combination.I would also say that this is not a set to be given to young fans. It is a long and complex build with many tiny pieces (and lots of firing guns) that might easily be lost by youngsters. Thankfully The Lego Group was thoughtful enough to provide lots of extra "ammo" for the weapons in case some pieces go missing. The recommended minimum age is 10 years old and I'd say that sounds about right. At $140 it's expensive to be sure, but you're getting two large vehicles, one mid-sized vehicle, and a tiny vehicle all in one set, on top of a robust light-up batsignal and EIGHT minifigures. All said I'd say it's a good value for the money.Once again, a truly awesome-looking set with great play features that's sure to make any Batman fan absolutely ecstatic. In my opinion one of the finest Batman sets made yet!

I’ve been after this set since it was first previewed but the price tag was a put off. When I saw this at half price I didn’t hesitate. The quality of the set is exceptional and the build is incredible! It’s definitely a build for the more experienced builder! The minifigures included are great, I would of liked a third flying monkey but Polka Dot man is a treat! The light up bat signal is a decent & substantial build but don’t expect a clear projection. The overall build of the 4 vehicle is incredible, although there are a few small pieces that will fall off with general play, but these are simple enough to reattach. I will say this set is more of a display than play set!100% recommend this product! Next up for me is the Bat Space Shuttle!!

This Ultimate Batmobile is simply amazing. It's a combination of four smaller bat-vehicles. It includes a Batmobile, Batcycle, small Batwing, and Battank. All of the individual vehicles on their own are really well made, even the small Batcycle. They also combine brilliantly to form the large Ultimate Batmobile, which itself looks amazing. They fit together perfectly, and it's hard to tell where they come apart, which shows how well designed this is. In addition, you get several exclusive minifigures, including Alfred in his suit and the flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz.Overall this is a great set. It's fun to build and play with, either in the smaller sets or as the larger Batmobile.

Involved build and clever design.

I had a great time putting this set together. For me, this set is less of a toy and more of a model. It looks great and has many moving parts/features, but has many bits that pop off easily when handled un-gently. Even broken down into the four components, the tank and batmobile don't steer/handle well. There are also seem like very few places to grab onto them to roll them around.I spent an additional half hour or so rebuilding Robin's hover motorcycle in a red/green/yellow palette that suits him.Thank you for finally producing the Flying Monkey figures as seen in LEGO Dimensions. The bat is nowhere near centered in the circle of light, and it seems no amount of tinkering and rebuilding can fix that. I suspect the bat logo was not printed properly onto the clear hemisphere element. The set relies heavily on stickers. I particularly disliked applying the round hubcap stickers. The stickers are not easy/fun to apply, and they NEVER age/wear well.

Issues with connection
23 November 2020

I was very excited to get the ultimate batmobile, I had a great time building it, and then I played with it. First off, including lots of stud shooters doesn't add playability to a set, it makes it look worse. Secondly, a main play feature where you can make it split into four vehicles doesn't work. Pieces get stuck and the back of the bat-tank falls apart. The moving piece that holds the tank to the batmobile is flimsy and barely held in place, so it falls off a lot. Overall, it looks good on a shelf but not when you play with it.

Let me start by announcing my bias: The only vehicle that should be called the Batmobile is Adam West's ride. Everything else, no matter how cool or awesome, should be called something else (Batcar, Batvehicle, BatATV ?) With that said, this set is really great. You get four vehicles that nest brilliantly into each other. Looks as good separately as it does attached. I went into this build expecting to hate it, but was turned into a fan by it's ingenuity and coolness.A comment on one of the previous posts: I agree that this set seems to be a bit more fragile than other sets. There are several pieces that pop off when the kids play with it. There are several pieces that pop off when the kids play with it. However, I found that because the vehicles are symmetrical, if you compare the left side of the vehicle to the right side, it's not that hard to find where the popped off piece belongs. Also, the same parts keep breaking off, so after reassembling it five times, you learn exactly where the piece goes. Still, they are fragile and it probably is a better "display" set than a "play with" set. But only Lord Business could have the coldness to tell a kid not to play with a set this awsome.I gave it a four brick rating because the villains are awful. Steal a Joker from one of the other dozen sets he comes with and problem solved.

I have a younger sister that i took to see the LEGO Batman Movie. I myself am a giant comic book nerd and thought that the movie did justice to the character while still highlighting the LEGO master builder side. Once I sore this set I had to have it and put every penny into it. the actual build was an joyful experience and the value for money was 10/10 (having 4 vehicles and a light brick). One of my favorite parts is the exclusive Alfred. My sister and I love attaching a LEGO rope to him and swinging him around and making him save the day while saying funny jokes like: "The butler did it". Overall this set is one of the best the LEGO DC super heroes team has ever created. It's a must buy.10/10

Several of the tube-like shooters on the tank break-off easily6. Batgirl can't wear her cape in the Batwing if you want the levers to fit in her hands7. Except for Alfred's, the minifigure's capes that CAN be worn tend to fly up and don't have a good place to fitThings the designers could have improved on:1. In the final scene where the Ultimate Batmobile appears, Polka-Dot Man is trying to help the good guys, not be chased by them.2. Batgirl's eyes are visible in the set, but in the movie they're just a white glow.3. The whole point of the scene was to show howBatman needed to team up and work with the villains to defeat the Joker, so the set could have used another Phantom Zone bad guy like Voldemort (plus there's nine bags and only eight minifigures so another would fit in perfectly).4. While the Batfamily are in their vehicles for part of the time, the rest of the time they're using the Phantom Zone Projector which would fit in perfectly with this set.Summary: While the set is great for playing and displaying, the designers could have made some minor changes which would enhance the value of this set. If you're on the edge of wondering whether or not to get it, don't hesitate-- buy this amazing vehicle.

I got bitten by the Lego bug and the Batman bug recently so I went ahead and indulged on this set. I've always loved Lego but never had I owned a set such as this. What a great design to have various vehicles combined into one. If I were a kid, this would have been my favorite toy for the play factor alone. Price is on point for the same reason. The actual build is not bad. I was only half paying attention since I was also watching the Lego Batman movie while building.I will say that I hate stickers. Never liked slapping those things on toys even as a kid because they always end up crooked in my eyes. I've seen enough Batman Lego sets that I think Lego can invest on having the bat symbol, at the very least, imprinted on their Lego pieces.

Where is the quality control?!

It's Christmas, my 8 year old opened up the box (which did not look previously tampered with-seals were in place) only to find the wrong set!!! My kid is seriously bummed out! Without even opening a bag, he noticed that the torso of General Zod was in Bag 1, which gave it away as this set does not include this character. When he brought it to my attention I started looking for the other characters, through the bags, to no avail. I opened the instructions, which clearly state the set is packed in 9 bags, and indeed 9 bags came in the box. Either quality control at the Lego plant had a day off, or someone was able to remove the seal tapes very carefully...Either way, quality control at Lego or Target was not on point. Now I have to go to Target early tomorrow, to avoid the after Christmas return lines, to a Target not even near me, to exchange for one that indeed is the correct set!!! Not a great experience for my son, who loves Lego and the Batman Movie and DC lines... I will update review once we have the correct item.
