LEGO City Shopping Street Set 60306

My son(and myself) always enjoy building lego sets together. This set added to the sets we’ve built together. It came with a lot of pieces, and many small ones. The directions are straightforward and easy to follow along with. For an adult, this set is mildly challenging. It was a bit more of a challenge for my 9 year old son to put together, but overall he had a blast doing it. This set comes with multiple minifigures and two vehicles to build. There are a couple small buildings that populate the street. The street panel is good quality and even includes a crosswalk design. I do wish the buildings were bigger, but other than that, the set is great. As always, lego puts out good quality products and this one didn’t disappoint. Another City Disappointment

The new City sets, unfortunately, follow the same failings that the recent Town Square set had -- not enough substance for the value. This set has no buildings -- just narrow facades (that seem to get narrower and narrower each year). There is little play value with something this superficial. The shops here don't even add up to a small building we might pay $49.94 CDN for (thinking #31105). It's at best half of that... bringing the value in at about $25. Then we have two $12-$15 vehicles included. Each vehicle on its own would come with one Minifigure, and a $49.95 building would likely come with two Minifigures. That leaves us with two extra Minifigures valued at $4-$5 each sold on their own. Add it all together and it's about $65 in value. Big set, big fun!

My ten year old is on a LEGO binge. She's putting together every set she can get her hands on. She was ecstatic to receive the premium-quality LEGO® City Shopping Street (60306) playset. The vehicles (there are some unique features there) and characters had her really pumped up, but her favorite feature are the glow-in-the-dark pieces. They really work and are such a fun addition. The bikes are really neat and being able to connect to all of the other LEGO she owns is awesome. It is a great addition for any LEGO enthusiast, expanding the world of play. My daughter built this in about 90 minutes and said it was easy for her.

Fun times for my girls

We received the Lego City shopping street complimentary for testing purposes. This was a perfect for my two daughters ages 6 and 10 to share and have some bonding time. They don’t enjoy the same things due to the gap in age but this was great for them to do together. The booklet is easy for both to follow in order to make the build. My 6 year old enjoyed making the vehicles the most and loves all the lego people. The 10 year old liked putting together the shops. Her favorite is the pretzel cafe. There is also a bike shop and outdoor fitness area. We all think the glow in the dark pieces for the street lamps is supper cool. So many little attentions to detail in all the pieces! Great Detail

There is so much to love about LEGO Shopping Street play set! My 10yr old grandson had an easy time assembling it and spent hours of fun playing. The service truck and the sports car are his favorites along with the six characters that came with it. He also like how the road hooked onto the shops and that it had speed bumps and a cross walk. The bike and pretzel shop have a lot of detail which allows children the explore and use their imagination. He thought it was really awesome that when he turned the lights off in his bedroom at night that the street lights were glow in the dark! He is ready to add to the Shopping Street play set.

Nice set

This set is pretty cool. I have 3 kids who love Legos. From 10 to 14. Boys and a girl. This took the three of them less than an hour to build together.They like how it all connects with the street so it is a town, instead of randomly placed parts. The number of characters included and vehicles. Multiple shops in the set. Can add on with other sets.They weren't sure why there was animal poo without an animal?Think it would be better with an animal included. The buildings and road would disconnect easily, could need more support under the roads.Overall, a nice set for all ages with lots of accessories and hours of fun.

Off to the Bakery for a Crossiant....

I would call this a small to medium set with its 533 pieces and not very hard to build if you have some Lego building experience. This set comes with Road Plates with car and bike lanes and a crosswalk, plus a bakery, bike shop, outdoor training center, cargo bike, service truck with cherry picker, sports car and 6 minifigures. I think this set has very good playablity and would recommend to all people who like Lego City sets.

Super Fun!

My son said that the LEGO® City Shopping Street was Awesome! He was so excited to be able to get this set and start to build it. He is almost 7 and was able to put it together with out any help. This was a good set that challenged him and wasn’t too easy, it took him a couple of days to get it completed. He loves all of the features like the city lights that glow in the dark and the bicycle shop. I love that this is a good quality set that he can keep adding to. (He already has plans for more). My son spends hours playing with his LEGOS. They are a great way to create and play!

Very Detailed!

I really loved the Shopping Street by LEGO. My daughters ages 12 and 9 have legos but never a set like this one. They've had simple sets and just packages of assortment of legos. This set is really detailed. Right down to the stripe on the car to the crosswalk the road plates, to the glow in the dark street lights and so on. It comes with 533 pieces. I know the age it suggest is 6+, that age is good but i would also advise having an adult help them with the set up. Just because of the amount of pieces. The city has connectors that can be connected to other lego sets. That way you can make a great big setup. I think some parents will love this as much as the kids do. Very good set with a lot of playability

This is what I think of the LEGO set shopping street number 60306. I think that it is a very great set with the road plates and all of the other buildings but what really is cool is that if you have set number 31097 The townhouse pet shop and cafe since you can connect it together with the road plates. If you also have Sesame Street set you can also take a piece out of and connect that as well to your city. I am very excited to get more road plate sets to connect. As you can see I have also added some of my creations to this city as well.I have also added other LEGO sets to this city as well as my creations. I hope you have as much of a fun time building this set as I had building it. Don’t forget to keep adding on to any one of the road plate sets.
