Lego: DUPLO: 3 in 1 Family House: 10994

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] It is overall a great set. The instructions were easy to follow for children as well and very clear. There are lots of characters which the kids enjoy playing with, car included was a pleasant surprise. A great set that interest my girls as well as they play family home by roleplaying with the characters. Having the garden bed and rubbish bins provide a chance to explain as well about recycling and growing plants at home/gardening. The kids were surprised and please by the night light, another thing they could closely relate to. Being able to build different houses from one set is great as it provides variety and the kids don't grow bored too easily. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] This set is essentially a Duplo version of a doll house including people, a car, pets, beds, mixmaster, light up block, guitar & scooter, just to name our favourites! Our little family enjoyed pizza, bunk bed sleep overs, dancing with the guitar & lights, family drives, taking care of pets, practising personal hygiene with the shower/toilet/sink and so much more. Cannot recommend this highly enough. I couldn’t believe how long my son sat and played, totally engaged and creating stories in imaginative play. Also just so much fun sitting and engaging with my 1. 5 and 3. 5year old and participate as the stories unfold. Also so good for my 3. 5 year old’s pre-writing skills as it helps his fine motor skills, ... More[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] This set is essentially a Duplo version of a doll house including people, a car, pets, beds, mixmaster, light up block, guitar & scooter, just to name our favourites! Also so good for my 3. 5 year old’s pre-writing skills as it helps his fine motor skills, strengthens his fingers and increases dexterity. Duplo is also a toy that survives the ages - both its structural capability to survive many little hands as well as the general open-ended play it offers, this is an investment for the long haul that you won’t regret!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I cannot fault this duplo set! We have had sets in the past & have loved them but this does not compare! This is hours and hours of entertainment! The thing that stand out the most for me is that they have nailed the fact that it is learning through play. They have definitely incorporated a way for the children to be creative, cognitive, physical, social and emotional and I feel like it’s a great way to teach them about day-to-day home life. The 3-1 ensures this will be a set that gets used over and over without getting bored. The quality is incomparable to anything else and will last toddler hands. The sizes are the perfect size for my 3 year old and I don’t have to worry about a chocking hazard. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] What an amazing set of Duplo Lego. Since my daughter has gotten older she’s very much into building with Duplo so she was very very excited to play with this set. First thing she asked was let build the big house mummy! This kept her engaged for hours everyday and she’s still playing with it. The house has many parts like car, people, scooter, pets and loads of other things to make and change up. The set challenged my daughter to follow the pictures of the very user friendly and kid appropriate booklet on how to make these. She needed some help putting certain things together but I loved spending this time as a family building and helping her watch the big house come alive. The next day we made the smaller house as per booklet and yet to finish the last as she’s too busy building other things from these blocks. Having this set is amazing as it’s very versatile and keeps her entertained for hours. Highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Upon receiving the Lego Duplo 3 in 1 house, I was amazed by the details on the box and what inside had to offer. Setting up the main design was a breeze to build and as an adult it was actually fun. Once built, my 4 year face lit up the whole room with excitement. He's currently seeing a speech therapist as I must say watching him play, talking about how things go into the bin, up the stairs, under the blanket was helping open up his communication and explanations. This 3 in 1 duplo house as functional items such as toilet seat, draws, mixer and windows and doors. It offers a cute light up night light with an assortment of colour lights to choose from. The 3 in 1 offers 3 house designs or come up with your design. ... More[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Upon receiving the Lego Duplo 3 in 1 house, I was amazed by the details on the box and what inside had to offer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Before receiving this item, I was skeptical about the quality that Lego has provided in previous products but my expectations were exceeded completely. Firstly, the quality of this set was wonderful, the pieces hold together well and were solid. Secondly, these pieces are not like those small Lego pieces that are so easy (yet annoying and painful.. ouch!) to step on, they are the bigger Lego pieces which make the play set look more realistic and much harder to lose pieces. My kids absolutely had a ball making this family house and so did I! This is a great play set to get the whole family involved in building it as it’s not just for kids! [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] My daughter was very excited as soon as she saw the duplo box. She wanted to get into it straight away. We love that there are options to create different types of living structures (apartment or house or small rooms). She's arounded 2 and half and needed help building the house which was quite easy. It took us about 30-35 mins max. I love that the blocks can also be used for creative play when she wanted to build other things by herself. The set is very multiculturally diverse compromising of a family of five and two adorable pets (cat and dog). The quality is high as expected from duplo. Durable and bright. My daughter wasn't frustrated when she put the blocks herself. This is her favorite toy at the moment. ... More[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] My daughter was very excited as soon as she saw the duplo box. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] The Lego Duplo 3in1 Family House Playset provides hours of fun for my 3 year old son. The build itself is quite challenging for a 3 year old as there are lots of parts and lots of instructions to follow. However, with the help of my husband, my son was able to build the playset. There is a battery operated nightlight for the bedroom in this Lego Duplo family house playset. My son loves it and won't stop turning on the lights for it. However, as a parent, I would prefer that there is no battery operated parts for a lego duplo playset. The ability to be able to build 3 different design is great as it keeps the playset interesting and fun for a child. The car and the petrol station with the ability to "fill petrol" is a really lovely design. My son kept "filling up" the car and said that he loved it. The scooter is so cute too. Overall, this is a great playset with opportunities to have lots of pretend play and it keeps both the child and parent engaged.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] When the set arrived the whole family was excited. As the lego was pouring out of the box there were excited laughing from the children. The packages were easy to open. The instructions are easy to read and have some wonderful illustrations, children had a great time making up stories to go with the illustrations in the instructions. The steps in the instructions were easy to read and the children were happy to read and look for the parts we needed. In some steps multiple package bags were needed to be opened to complete a step. Once the building was up we set up the people and made sure everyone had a bed to sleep in for the night. The children made sure each person had their own voice and their own jobs than need to be done on the house. They mad sure all the rubbish was in the bins before they were taken out for the rubbish truck comes to take them.

Fantastic set with a few flaws

Overall I’m super happy with this set. It has a great variety of accessories and pieces. The biggest flaw is the garage. I honestly can’t believe it passed LEGO QC. It comes apart WAY too easily when any amount of force or movement is applied. They could have easily fixed this by using another a combination of 2x2 or 2x4 bricks instead of the 1x2 tall brick, which doesn’t support the weight very well. On the other hand, I love the printed pieces, and the sheer volume of cloth pieces is unrivaled with any LEGO / DUPLO set I’ve ever seen. On a final note, $129.99 is overkill for this set. Search on eBay, I got mine brand new shipped to me for $88.
