This Duplo train is a great toy for a toddler. My 14 month grandson took to it immediately. The pieces are a good size for little hands (and mouths!) but are too big for any chance of accidental swallowing. Although he is still too young to fit the parts together, he loves pulling them apart. Clearly the train is going to give him fun for at least 2 or 3 years as his manipulation skills improve. It is very good value for money.

My oldest got this as a present when he was about 18 months old. He loved trains so this was love at first sight. It's proved a huge hit with his little sister as well, who still enjoys building with duplos and mixing the figurines with other play (she's now 3).This duplo set is now my default 1st birthday present to friends' little ones. Truly a gift that keeps on giving. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

The Lego pieces are a big enough size that they won't swallow them. The colors are bright and fun. Setting up the train in the order for the numbers is a fun activity to set up with a child. Overall, this is a quality toy!

This Lego set was sent to my nephew in Canada, he still loves playing with it. I shall look for more Lego to send to him for his birthday. His parents told me he has had hours of imaginative play with the train.He likes to count the numbers and the little statues.

Gave as gift to a child just turning 2. He loved it, even the picture on the box captivated him. We put the train together and he enjoyed taking it apart, and pushing it around on the floor. Can’t go wrong with Duplo’s. Especially love that they do not present a choking hazard as the pieces are much larger compared to Lego’s which are meant for older children.

The color coordinating train pieces with each group of numbers were a big hit as we put it together. After the train was built the characters helped to create new play stories with the trains and the numbers. This is definitely a new favorite go to toy for the little one.
I bought this kit as a gift for my 18-month-old grandson. He was able to build and play with it right away. Every time he connected the cars, he would proudly proclaim, "I did it!" So much fun. He also really enjoyed playing with the toy dog.
This is an excellent introduction to Lego. My son loves building different things and also plays with the figures and train on its own. The numbers printed on the pieces make a great way of learning through play. I’m sure we will keep this for many years to come.
