I have this to my 4.5 year old who as attention issues and GDD and I was floored at his interest in this set!His usual attention span when he plays, whether on his own or with me, for a toy or game is severely limited. He played with this for over an hour upon receiving it and many times since. We had much fun working out how to build it like the pic on the box and then he loved also creating his own designs. The two cars are great, not only can you switch the colors up but they drive on their own when given a bit of a push. The packaging is great, very large and appealing for the little one. This is hands down in the top two of his most used and loved toys he’s ever owned.I would recommend it for any lego and duplo lovers and those with ADHD and or GDD. ... MoreI have this to my 4.5 year old who as attention issues and GDD and I was floored at his interest in this set!His usual attention span when he plays, whether on his own or with me, for a toy or game is severely limited. The Race Cars components are quality made and will last, so it is something that can be passed down to other children once your child has outgrown it. The construction is fairly simple but holds enough of a challenge to keep young children interested. Having a couple of easily pushed cars that are robust means that it's a product that more than one child can enjoy playing with, making it twice as fun. Lovely to see that one of the racers is a girl and a girl is shown on the box playing with it so that it can be enjoyed by boys and girls. It comes in a very big box, twice the size of what is needed and the components do rattle about a lot in it, half the size of box would do. Components are lovely bright colours, large enough not to be a choking hazard and no sharp ... MoreThe Race Cars components are quality made and will last, so it is something that can be passed down to other children once your child has outgrown it. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. We are huge Lego Duplo fans and I'm happy that we added this to the collection of over 15 sets that we have. First thing: these cars are unlike any other Lego Duplo car that we have. If you push the car down and forward, there is a mechanism that propels them forward with a satisfying raceway noise (from the wheels, not battery operated). Like other Lego vehicles, the wheels are in a fixed position so if you push it straight, that's where it wheel go (had to throw in a mom joke). I love the tune-up aspect as well as the fuel station. As the product is geared towards younger kids--helmets aren't removable and there is no hood to lift for the tuneup--you have to take the top of the car off. Details like these are what make most modern Duplos nearly indestructible. The only negative I noticed is the very narrow finish line which might frustrate younger children. Though, any wider and it won't be stable. I will probably use it as the starting point and put down a strip of paper as the finish line.

This lego set is amazing! There are enough pieces for littles ones imagination to roam free.My son loves racing cars, and loved the fact that he could race the cars with each other, and win a trophy. He has played with this set for hours! He enjoyed that there was both a female and a male person in the set, it lets him imagine that anyone can be a race car driver.I highly recommend this set to everyone, it’s great for younger children, and older toddlers, I would however suggest to check the pieces before giving to really young ones first, although there isn’t anything majorly small.I know my son is going to play with this for years to come, he just loves it!
My son and I had a great time playing with this set.The bigger duplo pieces are great for kids who are easily frustrated like my son. He is able to learn how to click the pieces together without the frustration of the pieces being too small. It's a great set for imaginative play, my son loved the starting line setup and particularly he loved the trophy cup. There wasn't a whole lot of pieces to the set, so after about half an hour my son did get a bit bored. But there are a couple of configurations that can be made from the pieces. The instructions are set out really well, clearly showing which pieces are needed to build that step and shows exactly where each piece needs to go. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. You can never go wrong with Lego Duplo toys! The pieces are well made and are of great quality. My kids are pretty rough with them and play with them all of the time, and they still look great! This set is so much fun! My 4 and 7 year old play together with it and have races with the cars. I love that the wheels actually move so they can roll them around on the floor. It really puts their imagination to work which is wonderful to see.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Legos are my kids' all time favorite toys, hands down! They can play with Legos for hours, and I love how creative they can be with their designs. Lego Duplos are perfect for the youngest kids, because they are easier for them to maneuver and the themes are made just for them. This race car set is adorable, and comes with many colorful pieces. They aren't the typical pieces like regular blocks. There are trophies and oil cans, and a fueling up station. The most impressive part of this set is that the cars actually have a self-propelled feature where they will sort of vroom and go. It's great that this comes with two people and two cars, so that there can be an actual race. I would definitely ... MoreI received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This Duplo set is a great entry point to the Lego world for young builders to create and switch between build designs with their blocks. The push to go cars are a big drawcard, lots of fun to be had and holds attention for extended amount of time. Although Jr has other duplo, this set seems to hold his attention and keep him entertained longer. Car racing design is a great drawcard for him. Beyond building the podium design and playing with the accessories (fuel bowser, wrench, car brush) and racing the cars against eachother. Jr loved the concept that the cars race and the winner can carry the trophy. I would definitely recommend this to any kids who show an early interest in cars, Lego and working to build/make with their hands.
My toddler and I were both super excited to start playing with the Lego Duplo Race Cars. He loves anything to do with cars so this set was perfect. Everything on the packaging was well packaged inside the box. The amount of Lego pieces was more than expected and kept him entertained for hours. The quality of the blocks are really well made and function well together - he found it easy to piece together and create his own little pitstop with the pieces. It's the perfect size that fit well in toddler hands. The two cars that are included are his favourites. The cars are such good quality and the design of them is very well thought out and sturdy. I will also be purchasing other sets in future.
My son has just turned 4 and this was part of his birthday present. He was thrilled to have the push and go cars, and constantly engages with us or his brother to race them. Such a cute and fun addition to the Duplo world, these are fun for one or two kids (or big kids) to play with. The quality of big piece and bricks that we've come to love from Duplo with the added fun of racing. Love, love, love this product.
