The space shuttle can easily open and close to allow the astronauts to be seated. This toy is great for the imagination/imaginative play. It does not contain stickers, so that was nice! I do feel the price is a bit high, but my kids love it!

My four year old helped assemble this with the easy to follow step by step directions, and they both have enjoyed playing with the whole set every day since we put it together. The pieces break apart easily (not in a flimsy way) to rebuild and reconfigure to accommodate a toddlers imagination. Overall, great toy, great way to learn direction following, motor skills, and imagination.
This duplo LEGO space shuttle was great for a 4 year old who wants to build the LEGO's that his older brother does but isn't quite ready for the level of building yet. They each had their own LEGO set and built them together.

My 4 year old grandson is very hard on toys because he loves to ‘crash’ them. This set seems to hold up to the beating and he can easily put it back together. Worth the investment.
