He was thrilled with a set to build, and I liked that Lego included a detailed step by step instruction book, and packages each part of the set separately, so we can build a different section at a time,and at our own pace.Both of are dog lovers ,and we also enjoyed the theme and the bright colors chosen for this set.

Although a bit challenging to put together once complete the dog rescue park not only met my expectation, but exceeded them. The material used to make each piece is thoroughly sturdy, bright, beautiful colors, and fit together, snuggly and easily. There is a lot of detail to this park with each section. A bit pricy but overall superb .

These are an amazing set of legos for the 60 dollar price point. even could be gender neutral my 11 year old son wanted them just because of what the set was and did not care they were designed for the girls friends collection. I would definitely buy friends legos again for my boys and nieces.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The first thing that caught my eye with this set was the adorable dachshund with the wheelchair. There is also a handicap accessible ramp for the building with a wheelchair accessible sticker that goes over it. This set also has lots of fun little elements for imaginative play like a puppy pool, obstacle course, and a slide. The Dog Rescue set is cute and gets kids excited about rescuing animals. There's even a little Lego poop that my kids got a kick out of. Great Lego set for kids who like dogs or are interested in helping animals. I hope this set inspires young minds to help pets in need!
