LEGO Indiana Jones 2 The Adventure Continues Game DS
Players return to a virtual playroom re-creation of the iconic movie series in lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. As in lego Indy's Original Adventures, gamers play through famous scenes from the films, with 3D characters and settings created completely from colorful LEGO building blocks. The 2009 sequel game features scenes from all four feature films, including the most recent Indiana Jones movie, The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Some characters have new moves since the first game, and new vehicles are available to re-create well-known movie scenes on boats, motorcycles, and mine carts. In a feature new to the LEGO movie game series, players can also create their own levels, using an almost unlimited supply of blocks. Custom levels can be built completely from scratch, or created by altering and adding to the pre-designed levels included in the game. As in the Indiana Jones original and other lego movie games (LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Batman), players can collect objects hidden throughout the game world to unlock playable characters. More than 60 hidden artifacts in The Adventure Continues can be collected and used to unlock Crystal Skull characters such as Marion Ravenwood and Mutt Williams, as well as supporting characters and villains from throughout the film series, such as Short Round and Indy's father, Dr. Henry Jones Sr.

I got this for my wife to play on our WII after she loved the first Lego Indian Jones so much. This one is much more expanded and she'll be "enjoying" the challenge much longer. We did have an initial problem with saving the game, which was resolved by erasing the data storage that was initially setup. This may have had something to do with the patching that is done when the game is first installed. You'll know you have this issue if you lose your points when you exit the game and restart it. Just use the Wii menus to delete the storage for this game, not the data stored for version 1 be careful! One more thing - be patient and be thorough in each level - sometimes you have to go to another zone and go back to complete the previous zone.

Being a big fan of the LEGO series of adventure games, I just had to try this one out. Let me just say I loved it!I really like the new layout with actual objectives in the hubs, and the creator is a an awesome addition. The only shortcomings I found, and these are more personal taste than anything else, is the lack of "Freeplay" mode, and the sparse treatment given the three original films compared to KOTCS which got three hub levels of it's own. These are only minor issues, and are quickly forgotten due to the level of fun. Also, the shortened versions of the original stories also means that this game doesn't negate "Lego Indiana Jones- The Original Adventures", which is a good thing for those of us who want 'MORE LEGO!'.Just as addictive for the whole family as ... MoreBeing a big fan of the LEGO series of adventure games, I just had to try this one out. LEGO games have hit the mark again!

I hesitated to buy this because of the negative reviews saying that it was not like other lego games. I love all the other lego games and have defeated them. When the price came down, I couldn't resist any more and bought it. It is amazing. It has definite differences from the other lego games, but I think that it is a more interesting, challenging game because of it. People miss having something like the cantina, bat cave or college as a home base, but honestly, those places get a little boring after you have unlocked everything. I enjoy the more complicated setting, which I think will stay interesting for a longer time. I also love the new way Indy's whip is used, and the fast car chases where you have to crash into the villans.

This Lego game is much different than the other versions. I have played the original Indiana Jones as well as the Star Wars Saga. I loved Indiana Jones 2 simply because it was different. There are games within games as you now have "hubs" or worlds from which you attempt to find the next "story." I thought it was a great puzzle. I also enjoyed the new flying and driving challenges. There is no duplication of material here. Good stuff.
The game had the same controls as the previous lego games, but had nice improvements. Now two characters can venture off from each other & the scree splits so you arent locked into just being on the same screen with your character not being able to go anywhere without the other character. Great game with new bonus levels as well. Other games didnt really have this feature, you play the levels again but they are different with different objectives. I loved it & will be getting Lego Harry Potter
My 5-yr-old grandson loved Wii Lego Batman and Star Wars, complete saga. He is at my house afternoons, so "we" played them together, with me dropping out whenever he says the words. Neither of us has seen any of the Indiana Jones movies, but after 4 days of playing Indiana Jones, this is our favorite of the 3 Lego games we've played. He enjoys just playing around more than actually completing the levels and Indiana Jones 2 has many more opportunities for that. Each place is different and he loves flying the planes, driving the vehicles, and just exploring. I don't think there are as many characters and their abilities aren't as varied in this game, but the split screen and all the extra area to explore totally makes up for it.
I purchased this game for my 7 and 9 year old kids because they are huge fans of all the Lego Wii games. I was worried because some of the reviews were not so great, but I bought it anyway and my kids love it. I specifically asked them if it was anything like the first one and the both said "no way, it is completely different." They are having a great time with it and I think it is because they are not comparing it to the first adventure - they are simply judging it on its own merits.
This was one of my first experiences into the world of Lego games for the Wii. I had a great time! I have never been big into video games in the past, and then I mostly played Party Games with my godchildren for a couple years before I got this. When I first got the Wii, I ventured into the land of Zelda, but again, this was the first real Lego game I ventured into. It is simple enough that those of us who are relatively inept at video games can find it simple enough, but challenging enough to hold our interest.I am not the type of person you will find sitting around playing Call of Duty, but after purchasing this, I did go out and get other Lego games for the Wii, I had so much fun on this one.
This game is amazing!!! 🤩 I love how the whole game works! The game has multiple slots so up to four people in the family can play! I really like how in every level you can play with two people, so you can always play with a friend! I love dkoldies! Lego games are some of the best games out there, but this one is at the top of the list!
