This is a really cool set! While the original set may be preferred by some people due to nostalgia, I think this set does a better job of capturing the scene than the old one. The tomb in Raiders of the Lost Ark was large open space, while the original set felt really small. This set captures that space very well. Also, I like the inclusion of the Easter eggs and the minifigures are good updates to the original.

Not only is it a cute little representation of indiana jones… Lego style but the instructional book is perfect! It's larger in size and provides easy to follow step by step instructions so anyone can successfully complete a perfect finished project.

Son (7) bought today and we made it together as soon as we got home. As always with Lego great clear instructions and all went together easily. Son LOVES it and lots of movement in the piece to allow for great play. Brill as always!!

I let my kiddos put this one together for a teamwork project. We love that Lego has detailed instructions that our kiddos can do it!
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I love Indiana Jones. So, needless to say, I was really excited for this Lego project to do with my son. The four characters it comes with are so cute. It's 600 pieces and it says the suggested age is 8 and up. My son is 5 and he had fun but understandably needed quite a bit of help. It was a fun build and larger in size than I expected. We downloaded the app to assist in the build. I'd highly recommend this for any lego or Indiana Jones fans.

With 600 pieces, this set provides hours of building, it has a very big, clear book with build instructions that are very easy to understand. I was happy that there were 4 figures in this set. This set definitely has some very small pieces, but perfect for any Lego and Indiana Jones fan!
I like the sticker details. More of an interactive piece than strictly display piece. Perfect for any Indiana Jones fan. (Though, the "mummy" piece doesn't make any sense for the movie reference.)
Old and new. Loving these upgrades so much. There’s a lot more stability and playability to the new set. The bigger statues look awesome and take the wall down just like in the movie, plus the additional play features in the back with the mummy are pretty fun. I like that there is fire and pieces to lock the snakes in on the ground. The cobra heads are nice touches too. I’m ecstatic to have new Indy sets and they are all amazingly well thought out.
77013 ESCAPE FROM THE LOST TOMB is great but my least favourite compared to the other two sets from 2023. The figures are all accurate. Indy has gloves on and his legs, face hat and accessories are in the other indy sets. Marion's dress looks very nice; it even has the ripped part at the bottom which they used to light the torch. Her face and hair are a nice design; this is much better than the old figure. We finally get Sallah. His face print looks good. And the mummy doesn't get much screen time so there is not much to base it on. The ark looks good but is not accurate as the handles should be wood not gold as they were slid under to take the ark out. The problem is that there is nothing to hold it in place so it wobbles when moving it or touching. it knocks the wall over to reveal a mummy! The back view doesn't look good.There are references to other themes like star wars with c-3po and r2-d2 on the side of the entrance way arch and on the wall there is a Bionicle helmet and maybe a space police 3 alien or the crystal skull?. Overall this set is good but feels unfinished around the edges. It could have been a diorama but it’s focused on kids, still I would highly recommend this set to anyone interested.
