Lego Star Wars was a *huge* hit, so it's no big surprise that Lego Indiana Jones was next. It is just amazing how encompassing this game is. We just hit 100% on the entire game and have to say it was a lot of fun to get through it.In a world where games can be won and ended in a day or two, it is so satisfying to have a games that literally lasts weeks and is fun from start to finish. The humor in these Lego games is amazing. The little looks, the interactions are so funny. Whoever creates these games really should get a lot of credit for it. There are tons of in-jokes - many characters from Star Wars make appearances in here.The basic operation of the game is that you and a friend (or a computer AI) go romping through a Lego recreation of a given scene from the movie. Maybe you're running to escape a giant rolling ball. Maybe you're wandering around a mysterious library looking to create a letter X. Whatever it is, you bash everything you see, breaking the Lego pieces apart, earning coins to then buy new characters, special unlocks, and much more. There are puzzles to solve, enemies to bash, but it's all in good fun. It's not violent (although I suppose some might say that having a little In.

This is a very fun game but i am only giving it 4 stars because of the lack of originality. If you are a fan of the Star Wars Lego games then you will love this one like I do. Only problem like I said is its originality.... it seems like they took the Star Wars game and just swapped out the characters. You still have to collect the blue, gold and silver pieces and instead of Jedi you get master Adventurer if you collect a certain amount which i think they could have thought of something a little bit different to do to make it fresh. Overall it's a great game because of how much I enjoyed the SW Lego game, and like SW its short unless you keep going back to replay the levels to find all the items and unlock the characters to achieve the 100% game completion status, so I wouldn't say it's a must have at the current release price, its actually about 1/2 the price if you opt for the PC version. The game is usually pretty clear about what needs to be done next - buried items "sparkle," platforms that Indy can swing from are highlighted, and even crawlspaces and hieroglyphic bo.

The guns YOU pickup have limited firing power (much better over neverending shots) but you will die alot trying to get close enough to disarm the enemies - the bazookas are quite formidable.There's a few glitches here and there but the adventures are fun to play through, although some a little too easy. Replayability may be limited unless you give a substantial break between defeating the game and your next journey thr.
