We purchased this game for our 4-year old a few months ago. He beat the 1st Avengers game which shocked us since he is 4 and that was his first game. He has now beat the levels on this game also, he still has some running around the city to unlock people. This game can honestly be a little tough at times, I think it frustrates myself and the hubby more than my son. He loves it, though. He loves doing the levels (even if he may need a little help at times), creating people and running around the city. The levels can kind of be long which has caused some longer than expected game time. I love the fact that we can play the game with him. The 2 player is great, love being able to help each other. The graphics are good on the game too. We were not a fan of this map on ... MoreWe purchased this game for our 4-year old a few months ago. That one was a little easier, this one you can not see more than so much around you.I am not a huge gamer, so my review on the serious stuff probably is not helping, but overall.....This is a great game. There a ton more characters in this game than the other. (My son was a little bummed about no spiderman). I love how it goes with the stories from the movies and my son loves that he can go to space. :PIf you have a lego or avengers lover this is a great game for them! :)... Show more

Bought as a gift to play with my partner in our spare time. I previously bought her the Lego Harry Potter game series as she a HP fan. This one seems to be a bit more all over the place and a little bit manic in comparison. I suppose that ties in with the films but when playing it as a game its easy to start getting a headache. In terms of the game there are some enjoyable aspects, i.e. flying around as Iron Man but also some questionable ones i.e. Capt America using his shield to extinguish fires?!Haven't got too far in but some aspects of the films are well transferred into game play and again some game play doesn't link too much with the films.... I was so excited to hear about this game. I have Lego Marvel's Superheroes and loved that and this one is just as great. A lot of characters added to the game than before. My favorite part is the new hub areas. Instead of just being able to explore New York City, you can also travel to places like Asgard, D.C., Sokovia, and Hawkeye's farm. The you can create custom characters with more hair and face options, though I haven't figured out how to change the voices gender. Overall great game!... Show more

As a Lego game fanatic, working my way towards 100% completing all of the Lego games for PS4 I was not disappointed by this one. I've racked up 50 hours of gameplay and now 100% completed it, unlocked all the characters and vehicles and collected all minikits in all the levels alongside saving Stan Lee in levels and in free roam. The amount of time you can spend playing this games makes it well worth the money, and my 7 year old nephew loves playing it just for driving around the Manhattan hub (almost like grand theft auto but suitable for children), I've now realised there is also a season pass available for this game (an additional 7.99) which I have purchased and will be aiming towards completing the extra levels from this too. The only downside is I'm feeling a ... MoreAs a Lego game fanatic, working my way towards 100% completing all of the Lego games for PS4 I was not disappointed by this one. My partner & our girls brought me this for my Birthday as had enjoyed playing the Lego: Harry Potter game.It is great game, has voices of all Avenger characters & change characters on each level.Play as Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Nick Fury & other characters. You have to try save Stan Lee character 'In Peril' every level & earn enough studs to achieve 'True Avenger' status.Like other Lego games, once you complete a level you can go back as other characters in Free Play mode to get other items miss getting in Story Mode.If you like other Lego games or a fan of Avengers/MCU movies then you'll love this game. Suitable for children are 7yrs upwards.... Show more

Bought this for my 5 year old daughter. I love how she can play it alone in free play mode because she can discover things at her own pace, or we can play it together in story mode - although she has played story mode by herself as the majority of it pretty easy for young kids, I would often get, 'Mum, I'm pressing circle but nothing's happening!', so I'd end up helping. This is one reason that I haven't given it the full 5 stars - sometimes when prompted to press circle next to an object, you would have to press it quite a few times before it would work which is quite frustrating, especially for kids. Originally, I bought it thinking she'd mainly play it alone whilst I was making dinner, but once I played a bit with her, I got addicted and we ended up doing the ... Originally, I bought it thinking she'd mainly play it alone whilst I was making dinner, but once I played a bit with her, I got addicted and we ended up doing the rest of the game together, which was so fun - mum/daughter bonding time to the max! There's not many two player games out there anymore so the Lego games are great for this. I especially liked how first player & second player have to work together alot so it's proper teamwork, and it's fun how first player would sometimes be in a separate location to second player, and they'd have to do their own task. My daughter loved how you had to be certain characters to open certain doors, reach high up objects etc, as she got to play as the full range of avengers, and she loved going back to freeplay to unlock all the other marvel characters. However, as fun as it was, I personally wouldn't play this game on my own as it's very.... Show more

Was initially concerned that I had a NON-Europe version (happened before !!) the code on the game is CUSA20122. This is the US release number and also the European release number. Seems like Sony has changed the numbering system. Things to look for to ensure its European - PEGI logo, Region Number on the back. This was PEGI 7 and Region 2.Why does this matter? Well the game plays OK, but you cannot use the DLC (download content from your PSN account) on an out of region game!Scenario is : US game will work, but DLC's are barred. To get DLC, the game needs to be the region that your PSN account is in.This was a UK version and I'm happy :)... Show more

I bought the Lego Avengers game for my daughter because she received good grades on her last report card. I love Lego games, more importantly I suppose is that my daughter absolutely loves them. We started letting her play video games occasionally about a year ago. I went through the toughest time finding games that were fun for her, not too easy, not too hard, and were not overly violent. We got our first Lego game, and we were all hooked. (This includes my husband). I don’t give my daughter a lot of technology time, and she usually picks playing a Lego game when she can. This is our latest Lego purchase and again she is hooked. I like how the game in challenging, yet the accomplishments are achievable. This game is fun, we haven’t made it to the free playtime ... Great game
This is a great game full of challenging puzzles. I've played it so much in the past month that I'm already about 90% done with my first save. I love the random easter eggs hidden throughout. And who can forget Tony Stark's commentary? It really ties the whole thing together. I like how there are side levels that are of an entire movie cut into 3 parts. The only thing I didn't like was the very long cut scenes.Would recommend this game to others.... Show more

The disc had a W on it drawn in sharpie, and had scratches galore. When I initially put it in my ps3, it couldn't read it and sounded like it was gonna explode. The case itself and the artwork also had a W on it. Overall, this was just a huge oversight by Music Magpie and within 5 minutes of sending a message about this got a response, a perfect copy was sent to me ASAP with no further costs, including shipping. The item was described as an expertly refurbished product.... Show more
