This is probably the best Lego game to date. My son and I are addicted to it. There are many levels. The size of the city (New York) is huge. The number of characters is awesome. I think there is over 130 characters and different costumes. I like the free play option after you complete the level. You can go back and unlock secret areas if you have the right character unlocked. This makes the game play longer and not so short. Very fun for 2 players at a time. The split screen is great versus earlier Lego games. I highly recommend this game to all ages. Good clean fun!

LOL...I love the Lego games. They're awesome. Once you have the controls down, you can buy any game and they all use the same buttons which is awesome for non-gamers like me.This game is a little different than the others. You have to get to a certain point and do side quests to get vehicles and characters. I hate vehicle side quests. However, I did notice that the more I had to repeat a quest; the easier it got. So by the tenth time...yep...I could actually complete it.Don't let it frustrate you. It's fun and passes the time when it's too hot or too cold to go outside. Some of the puzzles may seem too hard at first but it does make you think outside of the box. Any game that makes you think (even a little), and is fun for all ages, has my vote. Enjoy!

I have no idea how stable the other version of this game are, but I know I've had my fair share of game crashing bugs and glitches on PS3. Loading times can vary from normal to long (like the Shield Helicarrier elevator). But did those kill my overall enjoyment of the game, of course not.The only real big issue these games seem to have since Lego Batman 2 or Lego Indiana Jones, is the camera. If you played this like how I did (with a child roughly 5 years old) it becomes a chore. It felt like I was fighting the camera more than Lego Doctor Doom or Loki. Depending on your TV, I suggest turning off the enhanced camera on all levels. Split screen will make it less of a headache.Regardless, the amount of unlockable lego characters and stuff to do in open world New York ... MoreI have no idea how stable the other version of this game are, but I know I've had my fair share of game crashing bugs and glitches on PS3. I would really prefer to "love" this game instead of being forced to just "like" it, but what's to love about a game that has the worst flight control interface of any video game currently on the market? (More about this later.) Despite the incredibly awful flight controls, this game has been played with great enjoyment by myself, a handful of friends, and family members both younger and older than me. (For those of you curious as to my age, think Jack Benny.)I enjoy the Lego "stable" of games because they are built around Lego building "bricks" that I grew up with as a child (remember my "Jack Benny" reference above, when I was a kid, the "minifigures" you used with Lego bricks were either 1/72-scale Airfix plastic soldiers or 1/35-scale green Army men), they put a ... MoreI would really prefer to "love" this game instead of being forced to just "like" it, but what's to love about a game that has the worst flight control interface of any video game currently on the market? Really, Lego games have managed to successfully combine action-adventure games with elements of both arcade and third-person shooters, platformers, puzzlers, mazes, and both one-on-one and horde-type fighting games; and they do it following old-school cartoon violence rules (this means "without gore") and offer the opportunity to play cooperatively with a friend.I've played (and still play) quite a few Lego titles, starting back with the PS2 releases of "Star Wars: The Video Game", "Star Wars II: The Original Tr.

I am going to write this review from the point of view of the mom who is watching her son play. When we got it is when I noticed this says 10+ but my son got this for his 6th birthday. By the time I noticed this little detail, he was already on level 3 asking me to google some strategies to move on to level 4 the first day he played... so lol. My husband has played this with him and neither I nor my husband have noticed anything that is totally innapropriate for our son. It provides hours of fun (unlike leappad games). This game is in no way educational - maybe there's some strategy? I don't know. All I know is that this is perfect for days when our outdoor temperatures are above 105F and we simply cannot go outside. He loves it.

My husband and I have played many of the Lego games already, since they're some of the few co-op games you can play without fighting each other or having to get online to open the doors to temptation with others. (I know of two couples who met while playing video games online, despite the 'loving' and 'dedicated' relationships those folks were already in at the time. You've been warned!)This game is as fun as all the others, but better because you get to play as so many different Marvel characters. My husband and I are not experts, mind you. Savvy players might fly through this game, but we don't.I think this game is suitable for novices between the ages of 8 and 30.

It's a pretty sweet game but very much like every other Lego game so far. You run around and try to collect studs and somewhere around the billion stud mark you can start buying stuff that helps you win the game. It looks great though, and most of the Marvel super heroes are here and all are playable, though many aren't very useful. Hint: you might as well use Iron Man for just about everything, but waiting for the Mark 42 armor to roll around in the character menu is really time consuming. The character quips and cutscenes are entertaining, though for the life of me I can't skip them during free play and that's also really time consuming. I also kind of wish Deadpool wasn't the spokesman for the game, but I guess if it wasn't him it would've been Stan Lee and that ... MoreIt's a pretty sweet game but very much like every other Lego game so far. Another issue I've been having is glitches locking characters in the scenery, or the game just taxing the console and crashing the system One more minor con is load times. To be able to unlock various attributes you have to go to the helicarrier and get on the elevator, which triggers an elevator ride segment and it sometimes takes awhile or, in my case, occasionally crashes the game. Other times you wonder whether the game is loading or if it's locked up, but you know, for the graphics in this game it's worth it.All said, it's a fun inventive game. It's a bit repetitive at times, and like all Lego games, it doesn't really require skill, just time. It's all worth it, but honestly I liked Le.

I'm a fan of Marvel (and D.C) super heroes and Lego and I didn't think TT Games could come up with a better game than Batman 2. I was so wrong. lego Marvel Super Heroes is as fantastic as Batman 2. It has every imaginable Marvel super hero. Ever since I've watched The Avengers, I've been wanting a game where all the Super Heroes unite and TT Games provides me with that in the form of mini Lego super heroes! I'm a few hours into the game, and so far my six-year-old nephew and I are loving it! Normally, he hates playing any game by himself and nags me to play with him. For the first time, he played it without me. I honestly gawked at him and told him to wait for me, since I also wanted to play it. You play a plethora of super heroes all in one game. My inner-child is over the moon! You start off with the Hulk and Iron Man and then you're later joined by Spidey. I thoroughly enjoyed making the ground shake with my massive thumps and throwing cars and massive objects into the air while playing as The Hulk. It was also fun transforming into Bruce Banner and then transforming into the Hulk (whenever you wish) while pressing the Triangle Button. My nephew had a blast flying through the air as Iron Man and checking out his powers. You're introduced to a new set of super heroes with each upcoming mi.

I have a 7 year old cousin who always looks forward to coming over because I play video games with him. I own Lego Batman 2 and he would have fun zooming around the sandbox-style game with the vehicles I 'purchased' and some of the characters. However, he never wanted to play with levels with me (I had to do it on my own when he wasn't around). With this game, he seems a lot more eager to play the levels with me because from the get-go, they often require 3 characters at some point in the game so we can switch around the characters to accomplish tasks. The fact that it is a little harder to get the stud multipliers (and they require some level-type gameplay) makes the game more appealing to him (and ME!) Really, I'm rating this per my 10 yr.old grandson's rave review. He wanted this more than anything else on his Christmas list, and he wasn't disappointed. I watched when he played a preview of the game prior to CMAS, and felt 'I could play this game'. ( and I'm a true dinosaur - don't have tv, video games, any high tech do dads). I did like that, at least in the part I watched, that there wasn't any violence against human beings; rather, a lot of sand creatures got demolished and a lot of structures got wrecked. The Lego graphics, if that's the correct term, were very well done, colorful and true to 'life'. My grandson Is a video game aficionado, and he loves this game.
