Lego Ninjago Movie Game Videogame

This is a solid Lego game. If you have played a Lego game before you kind of know what to expect. That said the combat in this one is a little more complex than the others with several different combat moves you can perform as well as a combat skill tree you can upgrade to improve the effectiveness of the different moves you have. Its still fairly basic but honestly its a nice addition.This one is based on the Lego Ninjago movie and the cut scenes are basically snippets from the film. Given the style of the movie and of the game, the scenes actually fit pretty seamlessly into the game. If you are a fan of the movie then playing through this will come with no real plot surprises but as games that let you play the movie go it is solid.I like the Lego game series a lot, they are light on challenge but a good fun casual romps and even better with co-op. They are also super kid friendly so are a good choice for families and I imagine co-oping this with a kid would be a hoot.

I understand the previous one-star poster's position regarding how the movie relates to the television shows of Ninjago. I am an adult, but my two younger children have watched ALL seasons repeatedly on Netflix and On Demand. So I am pretty familiar with all things Ninjago. If you are expecting a continuation of the series, you will be disappointed and frustrated. I think the movie is meant to be a stand-alone movie - meaning that the casual Lego fan, or casual Ninjago fan, or just a kid who likes to see movies, can understand and enjoy without having to know years of backstory. As for the voice differences, it is common to use "big" names for voices when a product goes to the big screen. Fast-paced and funny, with a meaningful plot. Any fan of Lego, or fan of "family" movies should definitely enjoy this movie. If you liked the Lego movie, or Lego Batman movie, you'll like this. As a matter of fact, of the three I just mentioned, the Ninjago movie is my favorite. This one gets a spot in our actual DVD collection - a rare occurence these days.

Great game for my son

Bought this for my son. He absolutely loved it! We've had no problems with condition. It works as new.

Kids love, but I prefer the show

My kids absolutely love the Lego Ninjago movie. They can watch it multiple times without getting bored. The adults in our family tend to find it a little too silly for our taste. I think my biggest complaint is that it doesn't really follow the show, which I love. The voices in the original show are really great however in this movie they just sound a little silly and over the top. Overall though it's a really cute movie that the whole family could enjoy together.

LEGO Ninjago Movie (DVD)

I'm not a cartoon watcher at all!! I took my nephew, who is 5 years old, to the theater to see this movie for our "special day" together. To my surprise I really enjoyed the movie. I bought it for him for Christmas and watched it again with him and his sister the next day snuggled up in my bed on a cold day. My niece who is 8 mentioned how good the movie was as it ended. I now want to see the other Lego movies.

Lego ninjago movie video games is decent game.

I have loved Lego games ever since I got an Xbox 360 when I was 7 I played every Lego game that release and they were my favourite Type of video games. My favourite Lego theme was ninjago but they never released a video game for the series, I sort of grew out off Lego games when I got a PS4 but if there was a niniago game I was always going to get it to check it out. When I heard there was a movie game I was disappointed because i didn’t enjoy the movie. I played it for a little while but then got bored around 20% through the games. I thing this game is good for people that liked the movie and little kids that enjoy Lego games. Over all I would give it a 3/5.

Not Bad

While the movie felt rushed it was a very funny watch. Honestly this is something you watch for a good laugh instead of serious lore but its still a pretty decent movie.

Great game in the spirit of the movie and the franchise, with typical Lego flair and fun. Kids love it and all the characters to unlock.

Bought this game for my 9 year old son who loves Ninjago. Good gameplay for his age and he loves the story and cut scenes.
