My son absolutely loved this set! He really enjoys putting these sets together. He’s 9 and this took him about 3 hours to put together. Once it was all together it was really neat and worth the money in my opinion.

My son absolutely loved this set! He really enjoys putting these sets together. He’s 9 and this took him about 3 hours to put together. Once it was all together it was really neat and worth the money in my opinion.
So I found this set slightly disappointing. I really only bought it because it reminded me of the OG battle for new ninjago city and it looked pretty much the same. However, it really is quite hard to move and breaks easily. It has a weird mech which some might like, but i don't know if it is necessary. I really liked that it had Wu. For the price it's a good set and it would be a great set for others, it's just not really what I was looking for.
My son loves Ninjago and was really excited when he received this set for his birthday. That excitement quickly turned to frustration by bag #3 and only got worse with each additional bag. He was so upset, he quit by bag #9. He said it was too difficult. The build quality of the set was horrible compared to the sets I remember playing with as a child. The set was so fragile, it would fall apart evertime he tried to attach a piece. He loves the minifigures but the set has zero playability. It's a shame Lego has opted to artificially boost the piece counts by using smaller pieces. This is clearly evident in how the set uses multiple small plates instead of using a traditional baseplate. The legos are light weight, durable, well made and so colorful; but, get ready...building this Ninja Dojo playset is a massive undertaking with over 1,300 pieces you will be working with them for a little while!! When the temple is completed (my eldest son was a huge help), the height of the completed temple is 32 cm, 54 cm wide and 24 cm deep and its 2 levels with staircases that lead up to it in the front and in the back-HUGE!! FUN! The only problem that I had with this was that adult supervision was constantly needed to sort out mislaid building materials & decor as well as refereeing initial character ... More2 THUMBS UP! It took him 6 days to complete it without any help from big sister!LOL! He loves it so much he asked when he can have another one!The set itself is gorgeously colored and has 8, count them, 8 mini-figures! Plus a training area and 5 rooms.Each figure is unique and highly detailed. A ramp leads to a small sitting garden. There is a tea room, an armory and Pixels Workshop are all part of the build.. It comes with a highly detailed manual, offering detailed instructions plus diagrams.This is one of there bigger and more highly detailed sets. I received this amazing Lego Ninja Dojo temple. My son was so excited. He absolutely loves all things Lego and Ninja. We spent two days building this set together. It was quite a big set with so many pieces but it was a fun build. My son loves the temple and all the minifigures this set comes with. This lego set is just what we needed for our Ninjago sets. I love how easy these directions were to follow and all the quality pieces. The details are incredible. I am constantly impressed by Lego . I highly recommend this set to any one that loves Legos .
My 3 older sons (ages 9, 11, and 13) had a blast building this set! They are super into legos and this was just the right difficulty, challenging them enough without it being so frustrating that they wanted to give up. The minifigures and add on bad guys were a big hit to build, as well as all the moving pieces in the dojo. It took them about 2 days to build diligently and they have been playing with it non stop. I love that you can download the instructions on multiple devices, so that cut back on fighting over the 1 book that came with it. If you have a lego lover, I'd definitely recommend!
I love this set. I got it for Christmas And I like the hidden donuts. And the hidden sword and I like samurai x's workshop and the weapon rack and the stairs leading to the door. I also like the Garden area which has target practice for nya.The characters were good and I like the set overall. I recommend this set for ninjago lovers and everyone else.
