A breakdown of just how terrible this set is

Alright. While I am aware that this is a 4+ set, the minifigures in this set are very desirable to collectors and is why many find this set to be so ridiculous. This set costs $34.99 usd, and has 87 pieces. A millennium falcon micro fighter with 101 pieces costs 10 dollars. The price per piece on this set is around 40 cents. Most sets have less that ten cents per piece. The price on this set is absolutely outrageous, beating out even the $90 diorama sets. I would never pay almost 40 DOLLARS for a set this small. The playability on this set is rather poor, with the at-st being very lackluster and the speeder a cheap re-color of the one from the snowspeeder 4+ set, which I highly reccommend. This definitely is the worst 4+ set to date. I would not recommend any ... MoreAlright. This definitely is the worst 4+ set to date. I would not recommend any parents to buy this, as for five dollars more you could get a set with around 300 pieces and several more mini figures. This set is worthy of its bad reputation, and needs to follow in the footsteps of the helmet series and the brick sketches and lower the price of LEGO hopes to sell any of these. I have seen stores with none of these even touched because no parent would ever spend $35 for such a lackluster and overpriced set.

Fun little set

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The Lego set is pretty neat. It comes with 3 mini figures that my kids can use for imaginative play. The instructions are clear to understand so my kids had no issues building it. Quality is great with Lego, no missing pieces and there were extra pieces for the kids to use as they pleased. Pieces snapped on together easily and fits well. Overall a really cute set.

Fun set but too pricey

This is an excellent first set for those just getting into Lego. All 3 of the included minifigures are great, especially Wicket! The instructions are also split into two booklets which is something I always appreciate for cooperative building. I see a lot of hate for the price and that's justified, however this set is for kids and has a couple large custom pieces to make them more durable for play. If you look at Legos other sets that are geared towards young kids its very similarly prices. I feel like $25-30 would have been a better price point but in the end it was fun little build with great figs.

Good figs, but the price...
22 November 2022

The only good thing about this set is the minifigures. We got a Ewok (finally), and the scout trooper and AT-ST driver are average. However, the price is terrible! 35 dollars for this set?!? I could buy a 501st Battle Pack and still have enough money for a minifigure blind bag! The build itself is okay, with the tree being ugly, the AT-ST looking too bland, with the only printing on it being on the top (maybe use some more printing on a 35 dollar set?). the speeder is... fine. That's all I am saying. The price tho... if it were bumped down about 20 bucks, then it would be a bit overpriced. Seems like overpriced sets are Lego's theme now...

Great for kids as a Star Wars starter set!
4 August 2022

I’m really impressed with this set. It’s one of the few Star Wars sets aimed at younger children, so it’s great that my son could follow the instructions and build it himself. The AT-ST is really impressive. May be basic to older collectors but children can easily play with it and immersive themself in the Lego Star Wars world without worrying about it totally breaking apart in their hand. The price tag is a bit high, but I’d more than recommend it to friends. And as an adult collector I would want this in my collection too.

Great fun, Poor Price
24 March 2023

My son love's this set. It was his first "big kid" lego set. He asks me every day when there will be more 4+ age Lego Star Wars sets. That said, it was pretty pricey. a lot of these sets geared towards our small kids are priced higher per brick than what you'd pay for an "adult" set. Lego should consider dropping the prices across al the 4+ sets to make them more accessible.

Great set for young Star Wars fans!
23 August 2022

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My three sons love watching Star Wars, old and new, with my husband. They also adore Legos, so this set was a huge hit with them. Even though it is built for younger kids who are just learning to build, my boys still enjoyed it immensely. They thought the Wicket character was adorable, and liked how two other minifigures came with this set. They love the feature where you can shoot a Lego piece out. Legos are the best toys out there, in my opinion, and my kids are entertained by them for hours. I would highly recommend this Lego set, especially if your kid likes Star Wars.

Lego Being Greedy
8 November 2022

This is a $20 set, plain and simple. Three non exclusive minifigures, bulky AT-ST and limited play features. Lego could've designed a new Ewok and I would've liked this set so much more. They are too in love with reusing figures in over priced sets. My expectations are usually pretty low for junior sets, but this is by far the worst yet.

One Word: OVERPRICED
11 April 2023

this set is horrible. i thought it might be cool, but i took a closer look at everything and it made me realize this set is trash. i might put a 3 or 4 star if the price wasn't INSANE. LEGO should be shamed and the least they can do is make an improved, cheaper version of this. the only thing i like about this set is that the mini figures are cool, but then again, THE PRICE!

Overpriced but good playability
8 August 2022

As a lot of reviews suggest- ouch on the price!Definitely higher than I feel it should have been. $25 seems more appropriate. We always get the 4+ sets because our toddler loves them. The instructions are always really clear for kiddos. And the builds are sturdy and pretty good for play.My 3.5 was happy to have an Ewok figure. He had fun launching from the fort at the atst.So the playability is there for young imaginations.Am I underwhelmed when I compare this to the other 4+ sets we have? Absolutely. If you wanna great 4+ set the a wing or snowspeeder are the best options, IMO. Tho they’re retired you can probably find them for less than the cost of this set even lol
