I have been using my indoor, outdoor clothes Airer for a few weeks now and I am much more impressed than I thought I would be, its the sturdiest clothes airer I have ever owned, having a large family I couldn't be without it now, I love all the extra features including the peg bag for outdoor use, the soft mesh for all my delicates and especially the two holder clips for smaller items, this really does save soo much space and so easy to use. So I've had a few airer systems in the past. From basic to expensive and this by far has been the best to use. Be mindful it does take up some space when it's indoors. But all the little add ons and features make up for the room it needs. I bought this back in the summer in readiness for saving some energy and I'm very glad I did. I love the red clips to hang up socks. I love the hangers that come with it and make drying cardigans and thicker jumpers easier. Very happy purchase.

The main comment is that this is not at all sturdy. I have had it two days and already it has collapsed three times. The legs do not 'lock' in place so at the slightest pull or push to access the clothes dryer the feet move and it falls down! Incredible! Major design flaw. Unfortunately I can not see this lasting long. Not worth the money.

This model is the larger of the Leifheit airers. It's everything you'd expect from the brand being well-designed, stable and robust while being at the same time highly manoeuvrable; even fully loaded you slightly lift one end, the castors opposite come into play and you can move it as you need. The package includes hangers which clip into notches in the outer rails, pegs and a net which stretches over the central table for flat drying delicate items. It even has a row of little clips into which your socks go. You will need a two-metre wide space to fully extend it and once finished with it folds away into a four-inch wide package. We're very pleased with it.
Bought this to replace our 12 year old Leifheit similar model that was starting to rust and crack at the plastic hinges. New model is pretty much identical in dimensions and has wheels which are surprisingly handy for moving around on the deck or moving inside the house. The plastic hinges have been redesigned to be sturdier and hopefully will crack like the previous one if you hang heavy stuff on the arms repeatedly. However the overall sturdiness of the product is not as solid as the old model. There is a lot more twist/torsion in the current frame design. Will see if this one lasts another 10+ years! The sock clips are super useful and we really like the quality 5x hangers (included) that can click into the frame and can rotate 360 degrees. I just put my first load of washing out and am in love with this airer! So much space. No awkwardly bending down trying to find a spare line hidden between clothes. The little sock holders are a HUGE space saver too. I thought my previous airer took a lot of clothes, but this thing is about an extra 50% on that! Oh, and the hangers that clip on - brilliant idea.
Impressed with how solid this is and also how much clothing I can get on it. It has lots of nifty features for drying a multitude of different clothing too. My original need was just to have something for being able to dry sweaters/tops on a flat surface - and it's been great for that. But it takes so much clothing - a full load of washing - which in this day of hugely inflated energy costs is brilliant. I don't have to use my tumble drier anywhere near as much as I did before. Top marks!
Like most of us I decided the tumble dryer would have to be ditched this winter because of the cost and so decided to buy this. I was truly surprised at how much laundry I can get on it! There are 5 coat hangers included, which clip into grooves on the outer line on the "wings", so if you put it outside in warmer weather, they will not fly off! There are also neat little clips along the long outside edges for clipping underwear or socks. It is very stable and has two castors so it can be easily pulled into place, and a peg bag which attaches to the dryer. An excellent purchase and can thoroughly recommend!
I bought this to replace my very very old airer which I have had for years same make/brand.Mine was looking a bit worse for wear the legs were kind of collapsing from all the weight that had been put on it over the years kids pulling and yanking on it when they were little.Having a large family of 9 this is a must you can fit so so much on the airer it's fantastic for the winter months, my washing dries overnight with my Meaco dehumidifier.I went for the same brand, same size because I knew they were very well made and strong. The sock hangers are great you can fit lots on them too.It also has the added bonus of two wheels (which are optional if you want to attach them or not)JL was the cheapest I could find the airer at a very reasonable price so a huge thank you.
