I upgraded from version 2 to version 3 because the features of V3 were so many at the same price point as V2.It was the best decision I've made all year long. Two of the upgrades really stand out above all others. The pump is extremely quiet compared to V2 and any other vibration pump on the market. The major difference between the two is the features of the updated PID. It's a game changer, plain and simple. The ability to see your actual brew temperature before you pull a shot is a tremendous value that you won't get from many double boiler machines that cost double the cost of the Elizabeth. The ability to see your actual brew temperature before you pull a shot is a tremendous value that you won't get from many double boiler machines that cost double the cost of the Elizabeth. What a lot espresso machine owners don't know is that when you first turn on your machine, the doesn't heat up to your desired temperature and stay seated until you're ready to brew. Most machine will heat up somewhere around 246 degrees and begin to lower the temperature toward your desired set point. With V2, the PID would display that your machine has heated to your desired brew temp despite the fact that is has overheated the brew boiler to well above your set point. More than likely, your first shot will brew extremely hot and more than likely way too fast. The Elizabeth V3 eliminates this issue by showing you your desired temp and the boilers actual temp. You'll find yourself not wasting and going through your little 12 ounce bag of beans before the end of the week. I know we've all been their. This is an incredible dual boiler machine with real pre-infusion capability (not just wetting the puck), priced cheaper than most heat exchangers on the market. Their are areas that won't feel premium if you're use to a Rocket or ECM machine, But what's under the hood makes up dramatically for it simple frame and basic look.

Small footprint, PID, pre-infusion, double boiler, quick heat up, and more than sufficient steam power for low volume home use. All at reasonable sub $2K price. Build quality was better than I expected and I actually like the retro 1950's diner look. Downside would be water tank (I am using a funnel and syphon to avoid moving machine) and the plasticky steam knob (Lelit - spend a couple of extra bucks here, please). Comiso were great to deal with. Was able to talk to a live person and they shipped out unit same day. I had a Kate and now have the Elizabeth
28 June 2021

I had a Lelit Kate prior and now own the Elizabeth. The pump on the v3 Elizabeth is much quieter than the Kate. The OPV valve on the Kate was set to 10-11PSI and the Elizabeth is set to 9PSI. I don't know why Lelit set it to 10-11PSI but a 9PSI setting produces fantastic shots more consistently. Now that I've owned the Elizabeth I find it quieter, more consistent, same super fast warmup. The software upgrade is nice, though I was under the impression the auto shot stop feature was volumetric and not time based.... but in the software - the lelit control center on the machine - I have the option to stop it at a certain number of seconds and NOT milliliters.Fantastic machine. 14 September 2022

I've owned the Elizabeth for a few weeks now and have brewed everything from light roasts to pretty dark roasts. The machine's ability to dial-in any roast level is very impressive. I love how quiet it is, I really like how programable it is (preinfusion, buttons, PID, etc.), and the fact that it's a dual-boiler has made making lattes a very quick task in the morning. At this moment I don't have any complaints or critiques about the machine. It just works and the espresso that you get out is as good as the beans that went in. I was deciding between this one and the Siliva Pro X. The Siliva is probably the higher quality machine but the features on the Elizabeth cannot be beaten at this price point. I've had no issues with the Elizabeth but just had a couple questions initially and they were more than happy to nerd-out with me on the phone. I'm confident that if my machine gives me issues, Clive will be there.

Lelit Elizabeth Review
6 July 2021

I upgraded from the Lelit Victoria, which is a great machine. However, The Elizabeth is quite an upgrade. Most noticeable is the Elizabeth’s pre-infusion from the steam boiler, the espresso is noticeably higher quality. Also, being a dual boiler I don’t have to wait to steam milk after pulling the shot as I did with the Victoria. In addition, the OPV (pressure adjustment) is easily accessible on the Elizabeth, but it’s a big intimidating project on the Victoria. There’s also a huge difference in the pumps, where the Victoria is loud enough to wake people up in the morning, the Elizabeth is 10 times quieter and most likely won’t wake anyone from their sleep. My Victoria was $1000 and my Elizabeth was $1700, the $700 dollar price difference is well worth it, if one can afford it. I could have saved some money if I would’ve just gone with the Elizabeth first off, but at the time I didn’t want to spend the extra $700. Now, I’d recommend the Victoria mostly if one absolutely needs to save as much kitchen space as possible because it’s more slender and compact and also if $1000 is the very topof one’s budget. I did not have any buyers remorse with the Victoria at all, but I’d definitely say the Elizabeth is twice as good as the Victoria. I’m not a major expert, but the Elizabeth is my 3rd espresso machine and I’d definitely say to go for this machine and not waste time and money with less expensive less capable machines. I feel the Elizabeth is the best compact style dual boiler espresso machine available, before spending over $3000 for those larger machines that look like a Corvette in your kitchen. So 5 STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for THE LELIT ELIZABETH. Buy it and have no regrets. I live in downtown Oceanside CA where there’s a coffee shop on almost every block and I honestly like the espresso that I make at home with the Elizabeth better than the best local coffee shops. The only issue was because of the pandemic caused shortages, I had to wait months upon months to receive it, but now that I have it, it’s a luxury I don’t want to live without! Thanks Comiso Coffee

Lelit Elizabeth V3 is fantastic!
20 January 2023

I was concerned upon receipt of the Lelit Elizabeth as the inner box (not the outer box) showed water damage and in fact was still wet. There was some minor moisture within the machine's drip dray, but otherwise the machine looked unharmed. I have been using the machine for exactly one week as of this writing, and I'm happy to say that not only was it apparently undamaged, but it's fantastic for espresso and steaming. Immediately upped my latte art (here coming from a Crossland CC-1). Very satisfied and would highly recommend this machine.

Machine does not work
21 November 2022

Lelit Elizabeth arrived November 19th. I followed the instructions on setting up and machine. Once filter is added and water reservoir filled, machine is turned on. It initially does what the instructions say it will do; lights come on briefly, then turn off while the pump fills the boilers. LCC flashes the Lelit name and badge. According to instructions this should last a maximum of 4 minutes, however, my machine does nothing. Pump continues to run, LCC flashes Lelit name and badge and nothing else. Button functions don't turn on, pump doesn't stop running and LCC never does anything but flash "Lelit". Started a conversation on the website with a tech but after a few questions, never heard back. Two Year Update
3 August 2022

I'm almost exactly at the two year anniversary of buying the V2 Elizabeth, and wanted to do a quick update on my prior review: it's still awesome. I haven't had any functional issues with the machine at all, and it's been a solid and consistent performer for at least three shots a day and steaming with all of them. The only mechanical issue is that the low-water sensor has started to be a little inconsistent; but based on our routine, we know when to expect it. I also wish the water filters were more readily available, but that is a solvable problem.Otherwise, I've been really happy with the purchase, and even as I wonder about trading-up; nothing matches the simplicity and functionality (my wife loves it because it's a one-button process). The price has gone up since I bought mine, so there are other competitive options; but as a first-machine for daily use, I don't know if you could do better.

We did a LOT of online investigation of espresso machines over a few months of reading reviews and features, finally settling on the Lelit Elizabeth, choosing quality, design, simplicity and function over the more expensive machines. We also factored in our preferred coffees we like. Arrived well packed, a very small dimple on the front cabinet was found and ignored. Machine works great, mounted machine on a rolling slide-out tray, now super easy fill to the water tank, slides right under the cabinets with room to spare. Makes great Americano and espresso / latte coffees, easy to program, easy to use, easy to clean, stainless cabinetry is fantastic, leaves no fingerprints. We like this better then chrome by far. Picture shows this slid forward. Two programmable buttons one for single and double shots, programmable pre-infusion for each, shot times, on-demand steamer, hot water, all concurrently available when pulling a shot, quick warmup time, great dual boilers, PID, temperature gauge, bar pressure and more. We feel this was the perfect purchase for us and enjoy this daily. We also use the hot water feature quite a lot for adding water to hot cereal for breakfast. This is now our favorite appliance.
