I have two of these saddle pads. They are absolutely beautiful. The matchy matchy possibilities are endless!! However, I feel Dover has overpriced this pad by a lot. I can find this pad for 30 dollars less at other places. You may have to pay shipping from Europe but I would recommend checking, especially if you are getting an entire LeMieux matchy set. Still wonderful quality and Dover offers such a convenient option for my favorite pad!

Absolutely love this saddle pad! A little pricey, but worth it! Has some really nice features including: vibrant beautiful colors, reinforcement where the girth goes, and a suede-like fabric on the inside (similar to the fabric on the inside of the ogilvy pads) that prevents it from slipping. So beautiful and love how it is shaped to fit a forward flap saddle. Love my other saddle pads as well but really nice how this one is shaped to fit a close contact saddle.

I've ridden with the pad twice so I can't speak to its durability yet. I ride a 17.2 hand draft cross in an 18.5 inch, extra long forward flap Black Country saddle. In 5 years of searching the only other non-dressage pad I've found that fits large saddles is the Dover Saddlery extra long cotton pad unless I was willing to pay for custom. This pad fits!!! And it comes in several different really nice colors.
I use this saddle pad with my M. Toulouse Annice Close Contact Saddle and ogilvy memory foam half pad. I have a 16.2 ottb that has very high withers that need alot of relief. I was worried that it would be to thin but it's not to thin and it fits perfectly under my saddle with my half pad. The girth loops don't actually attach to the girth like I thought, they attach to the d-rings on the front of the saddle. The loops really help the saddle pad not slide back. I love my saddle pad so much, it's worth every peeny and I recommend it to everyone.

Great pad. My horse is white and I got the black color and the material underneath makes it very easy to get the hair off, especially since he's shedding his winter coat. Love the exterior material, as my saddle, barely moves compared to other pads I've had. The leather patch really holds the girth into place and doesn't seem to tear or roll up as other pads have done with different brands. Seems to have a cooling effect.
These are the only saddle pads I ride in. I've got 7 that I alternate through all in different beautiful colors. You can get them quite a bit cheaper from other places, but the free domestic shipping from Dover is very convenient. The shape is well thought out and the material is perfect. Also, these pads are not too thick or heavy for summer. They are good year round.
These are the best saddle pads! I have used a whole slew of saddle pads over the years. I have a small (read...very large) obsession with saddle pads but am very particular about them. My horse develops saddle sores with low quality saddle pads but the luxurious bamboo lining keeps him happy and saddle sore free !! Also, not just the lining is soft, but the piping across the edge of the saddle pad is very smooth so the back edge of it does not cause hair loss or breakage (which also happens for my horse with cheaper pads). The anatomic wither shape of the front of the pad is great because there is no slippage of the pad regardless of whether I use the D-ring attachments or not.
