It's certainly not a deal breaker or anything, just more of a "would be nice" type thing. After seeing this one I have definitely been considering getting a portable monitor for myself as I do a fair bit of work on the go throughout the summer. I would probably look at the different options to see what else there is for options, but I certainly wouldn't rule this one out! This one so far has served it's purpose well, of being one of the more affordable portable monitors that I could find.

This is not a drawback of the monitor, but for users who are looking for a single main display, those features would be perfect. For what this is, which is a budget 4K monitor, this is a great device, even if not something that could be recommended to everyone. It makes for a perfect MacBook external display.

I also like the fact that as soon as I had these monitors plugged in, I was prompted to download the :Lenovo display and accessories manager", which allows me to change aspects of the monitor from my desktop. The monitor stand does not provide adjustable height movement, but does provide the ability to tilt the screen for better viewing; a feature missing from my Philips monitor. Well thought out and designed. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this monitor purchase.

Great Monitor, No Windows 11 Drivers Found
8 June 2023

I purchased this monitor from my local retailer a few days ago and it’s great with one BIG issue.I can’t seem to get anyone to confirm if this monitor has/needs any display drivers. I had an issue of screen flickering and one google search suggestion was to update the display drivers. Yet on the product page it only lists windows 10.I tried Lenovo chat and was laughed at by chat agent and directed to a different department. I was disconnected before I could get the department phone number. The monitor does work with windows 11, but if the monitor is not officially supported it should be noted by the selling retailer or sold “as-is”.While I understand the agent was probably trying to lighten the mood with a frustrated customer, laughing and using haha and lol ... MoreI purchased this monitor from my local retailer a few days ago and it’s great with one BIG issue.I can’t seem to get anyone to confirm if this monitor has/needs any display drivers. It’s not the no vibration screen but it’s pretty good. I like that there is no branding on the front and the section on the stand for a phone or tablet is handy.I ended up ordering a different monitor from another manufacturer but if I can get an answer on the compatibility I can at least compare in them in terms of size and resolution. The monitor from the other manufacturer is qhd so it might have the edge in resolution but 27” might be a too big for my space.

It would be worth if it function as expected
25 April 2023

The expectation of L15 is that it would provide seamless plug-and-play compatibility with various devices. When I initially connected the monitor to my iPad, it worked perfectly. However, during my second attempt, the monitor displayed a blank screen. Subsequently, I tried connecting the L15 to a X1, where it functioned as expected for eight days before encountering the same blank screen issue. The monitor doesn't appear to be defective, as it displays the standby message on the screen and is recognized by the Windows system. This intermittent functionality is concerning, as I am unable to predict when the monitor will work and when it will display a blank screen. Over Priced Portable Monitor Works
7 October 2024

I purchased the Yoga Pro 9i and I had a USB-C portable monitor that worked just fine with my HP Spectre 360. But, it would not work with the Yoga, without connecting a HDMI cable to it for it to work. I didn't want to use two cables to connect a portable monitor to my Yoga. So, I decided to get the L15. Based on other portable monitors with the same specs, it was about $80 overpriced. I see that the priced had dropped some now, but it is still over priced in my opinion. I do like the design, however, it just doesn't seem to get that bright. It has like a dull look to it. I an AOC portable monitor and it just seems to be brighter and sharper. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice portable monitor. In my case, I wish the USB-C ports on my Yoga were compatible with my older portable monitor. It would have saved me almost $200.

Perfect external monitor for M1 Macbook Pro
12 December 2023

So far I love the monitor. The colors are crisp, refresh rate is great for what I need, and having a single USB C connection to charge and connect to my M1 Macbook Pro is fantastic. I'm also a fan of the built in speakers as a nice perk, and I'm grateful it can get as bright as my mac if needed. I don't usually need to keep it at max brightness though.I had some initial flickering issues, but they seem to have resolved since updating the firmware (which must be done with a PC which is a little inconvenient). The monitor comes with a 3 year warranty, which gives me a lot of peace of mind in case issues arise in the future. I would gladly recommend this monitor to coworkers or those looking for a high end 4K display with multiple inputs and high color accuracy.

Perfect work-from-home ultrawide.

Unit was professionally packaged and arrived in 2 days, in perfect condition. From unpacking to setup in barely 5 mins. The display functions perfectly. Price and performance is excellent and, though something I very rarely do, I can easily recommend this monitor. I can not say how it may perform in a 'gaming' scenario, but in my work-from-home setup, it is absolutely perfect. I experienced a bit of 'analysis paralysis' because of all the reviews out there and everyone touting the larger, faster, etc etc, ultrawides. I was originally concerned whether it would be the right size. Basically it is the same height as a 16:9 27" and approximately 30% wider. In the future if I ever decide to go bigger, this would also make a perfect 'vertical' monitor I looked at monitors from every major, and several minor manufacturers and suppliers. Direct from Lenovo won out in delivery and price. If you need an ultrawide, and do not want, or really need a behemoth 34"+ monitor (and the price that goes with it) do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed. I could not be happier with the purchase and zero buyers remorse.

Work From Home Dream

I purchased this as part of a work-from-home setup with an employer issued Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 and a LDA-KP dock. My primary purpose is business use and that's for what I would recommend it - not gaming. I like that I can have a really large screen working area and have a 1080p camera (most laptops are usually 720p) all while leaving my laptop closed. I compared actual viewable screen areas of many other 32" monitors, and this is by far the best - it has a full inch more vertically and an almost 0.75 inch more horizontally (714.2 mm x 424.4 mm). It's a UHD and it's native 3840x2160 resolution creates an astonishingly clear picture and rivals QHD monitors which are native 2560x1440. Color gamut is excellent. Contrast ratio is rated only 1000:1 but it's more than sufficient for business use. Brightness is fantastic. While it's not a reason I purchased this monitor (it was supposed to be more of a bonus), the speakers are not on par with the rest of the monitor. They're extremely tinny and don't have much volume. (For some reason the L27q-35 speakers are noticeably better.) Though they are functional and do work, I wouldn't recommend buying it for this purpose because you'll likely be disappointed. It has a 60 Hz refresh rate and is more than ample for business use. But again, I would not classify it as a gaming monitor as it is marketed. I've used the DP and HDMI ports and can't really tell any difference. The LC50 webcam is excellent and folks have no trouble hearing me in a video call. As for improvements, I would like to see a better contrast ratio. Offering one of these at a 120 or 160 Hz refresh rate would do well to be properly marketed for high performance gaming. And it would be great if Lenovo would sell these without the camera as well as I would really like to get a work area with 3 of these total.
