Quality is amazing for the price! Set up is easy, and mounts on the monitor perfectly. 4 stars bc it just doesn’t look the same colour or texture as the picture. In the picture it looks white and glossyish, in person it is grey and not glossy :| and I was hoping to add to a white set up. Other than the colour difference everything is awesome.

I bought it on sale. The camera is secure on my monitor with the clamp. No adhesive tape is necessary. Unlike other models, which I found were not very secure when attached to the monitor. I am using it on Windows 10 computer. It works well with XSplit VCam. Free software that gives you a virtual background.

The camera was plug and play. Even my most technology-averse employee got this setup without help. The picture quality is grainy. It isn't to the point that it's unusable. In fact, the price point made it a great buy for the person that seldom uses video conferencing software but on occasion does want/need to be seen. If you are on camera every day, I would get something with better picture quality.

I purchased 2 Lenovo 300 FHD Webcams. I needed to add them to my desktop and the desktop for my grandson. They are excellent for my meetings. My grandson makes videos of himself. He's four years old and can independently operate the functions easily once I showed him how to do so. The quality is excellent. It is truly plug-and-play. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality camera for home use.

With the right lighting and positioning I found that I can make the quality of this webcam look even better which is definitely something I reccommend doing if you end up buying this Lenovo webcam. Looking at other webcams within similar price ranges I really don't think it gets much better than this one, even other reviewers seem to agree! The support and instructions are also very detailed and helpful if you aren't tech knowledgeable and need help with the installation process. I recently purchased a monitor and needed to also purchase a webcam to go with it. I did some basic research and my conclusion was to go for Lenovo 300 FHD based on the price, resolution, design and online reviews. I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the quality of images and sensitivity of the microphone. Okay, it’s not something you would use to make a ultra high resolution marketing video, but for everyday conference calls and catching up with family, it’s highly effective and much better than the Macbook Air (2019)’s built in camera. I would highly recommend! Can’t go wrong at this price.
I went through many brands of webcams because I needed an external webcam to place above my external monitor. This allowed me to look straight when I talk and not off to the side to use the webcam built into my macbook. All the other brands I tried had too wide of a field of view and caused a fish-eye effect where walls at the edge of the view were curved. This webcam has almost no fish-eye distortion. Also, the field of view is just right to capture me and avoid most of my room. It works without any issue with Teams, Google Meets and Zoom on my macbook pro. It required no additional drivers either.
It was hard to secure to my touch screen monitor. The base pressed on the monitor and my screen would have random flashes. It only happened occasionally but it still concerned me. And adjusting the angle while keeping it secured was also a challenge. Most importantly, the wide angle shot is just too much. I don’t want my coworkers/classmates/friends to see the entirety of my room. I just need them to see my face. A bit disappointed with this purchase.

There is also a free app (CameraController) on github that you can download to adjust your camera settings, again the image will show black and white like on Facetime but the setting adjustments still work, you can just turn on zoom and see the changes there.2. If it's the hardware is capable but lacking software then Lenovo needs to fix that. I tried this on windows as well and only getting 720p, so it's not a OS issue. 4 for features given the windows hello capability, built-in privacy shutter, but really lack software to support this product comparing to other vendors like Logitech. 4 for value if you can get this on sale, would not rate 4 if this is at original listing price until they make it 1080p. 5 for reliability for now as I did not run into any issues with it so far, very easy plug and play webcam.
