The backpack is not too big or too small. It has perfect volume and very convenient for me for daily use. I have already bought it 4 or 5 times, including those I purchased as gifts to my friends and I keep using them for about 4 years in a row for now. The lifespan of it is about a year, however the price is very democratic and different colors are available. Great stuff for me and I recommend it to everyone.

This is not a backpack with a laptop sleeve; this is a laptop backpack. The blue color is gorgeous, and the canvas material looks durable.My only concern are the zippers. They seem too thin. I’m worried that the zippers will break before the bag itself wears out.

My son's bag seems to be holding well enough, except that the zipper handle broke off very shortly after he got it and we only just discovered this a few weeks ago. To my chagrin, it appears that you can't get any sort of support online to look into options for warranty repair or replacement. I dug for 30 minutes and found absolutely nothing regarding backpacks or totes or any other similar products. Beware when purchasing non electronic accessories through the store -- you will likely find it impossible to find any way to find online support for it. The product description for this product does not list the warranty period.

It's a nice item for travel and business. It is like a canvas with an inner liner. Very professional looking. I took a star off to 4/5 stars because some of the seams are fraying after extensive business travel in November-December. That is like 5 business trips and it has loose threads so durability is questionable.Also a small note is that it is kind of noisy. At least noisier than my last backpack. But I like it otherwise very efficient and the inner pockets are awesome.Note: I entered this so that I would be entered in a sweepstakes.
This is simple, lightweight backpack that looks good enough for school or the office. I needed an inexpensive option to go to the office with my work laptop, iPad, notebook, cables, and miscellaneous accessories. Everything fit with room to spare. My only gripe - no bottle holder. Straps are comfy enough. Interior is basic with just enough organization for my day to day. Padding is basic. I wouldn't want to drop this bag on the concrete. I grabbed this for 12 bucks. At that price, it's worth it!
The entire bag is lightweight.The main pouch has 2 small compartments suitable for cables, 1 large compartment suitable for the the laptop, and the largest space left in between suitable for a few textbooks or a drawing tablet. The front exterior has another pouch which I use for more cables and/or peripherals.The bag is only lightly padded, so don't *throw* it around with a laptop inside, but it will protect from the force of being set down a little too hard.
This is a solid backpack for a low price. The photos do the item justice; it is great for holding my Chromebook, textbook, and notebook for classes. It's very compact, so while it does a good job holding additional items like wallet, keys, water bottle, and snacks, I can't fit a Tupperware without turning it on it's side. It's a bit disappointing considering I have long evening classes during dinnertime, but not a deal breaker.This backpack doesn't have a ton of padding, so I don't recommend it for anyone that is a bit rough on bags. I'd be concerned about electronics or glass containers breaking if treated carelessly. However, I haven't had any problems with it while commuting via public transportation. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.

I would worry about how much weight you put in this bag. It should be able to hold a laptop and maybe a full 3-inch binder, but if you push the volume capacity or weight too much, I doubt it would last more than a year.Now, outside of build quality, I'm not a super big fan of the pocket layout. The laptop pouch is really large, like it could hold a pair of thick laptops in it no trouble, but I want my laptop to be fit in its home a little tighter than that.The pockets on the opposite side are obnoxiously strange dimensions. Ideally the entrance to this pocket would be even another half-inch larger so I could easily fit a standard sheet of paper (or even a folder) inside with ease.As a student, I find the lack of a water bottle pouch to be a real frustration, and I'm just carrying it in my hand until I get around to fabricating a way to stow the bottle without risking it leaking onto all of my papers, electronics, etc.In the end, this bag is extremally cheap, and I wasn't asking for much from it, but there are a few things that I think could be changed to make it far more useful as a backpack that wouldn't increase the cost substantially.
