I have only owned HP and Dell computers, so when I got the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 I had no idea what to expect in terms of performance. At first this laptop acted weird and slow at times for about the first week. Thankfully, it stopped all the weirdness and has been working perfectly since. I'm happy with speed and performance so far. I'm not sure how much space is on this particular computer so I can't comment on that, but everything else is great. So glad I finally have another touch screen computer! The battery is wonderful. It charges super fast and lasts quite a long time. But once it gives you the warning that your battery is at 8%, you have about 15 to 25 seconds before it dies, and that's the only battery warning you get. It's light, portable and travel ready and honestly has a lot of capabilities you'd use daily given the price. Just be prepared to learn anew, purchase more external storage if needed and I also got a plug-in for additional USB ports for like $7 bucks. The verdict? Pretty happy with it I decided to keep it.

You can even play some some games if that's your thing.Then there are some really great points. The fact that it is heavy also belies a relatively good build quality. Little chassis flex, the hinges are well made and don't make noise. The keyboard may be cramped, but the keys don't feel cheap and sound nice. The battery life is also really great, great enough that I've repurposed the charger for other things and just move it there for a top up when needed.Bottom line is that you shouldn't buy this machine. Find out what you need a computer or tablet to do and buy one that does that well. But if you need a gift for a child or just want a backup or just want something to leave in the kitchen to reference recipes without feeling like you're taking a risk with a device you depend on, you won't regret buying this. You won't be thrilled, but you certainly won't have regret.

Inexpensive, swiss army knife of a Chromebook!

If you would like a device that is fast, responsive, and compact enough to surf the net, check email and do a little shopping/research then, for the price, this is very hard to beat. i am not a fan of touch pads or touch screens, but both these options work extremely well with this little lenovo! I have a mouse hooked to it and use the touch pad and the mouse about 50/50. I was researching used guitars and nearly bought one at a budget price based on my home computer. I looked it up on the chromebook and the zoom with the touchscreen exposed a small dent in the back of the neck. The display isnt the very best, but it is more than adequate for non-pixelated images. Honestly, such a versitile little guy for a great price!! Got this guy on sale for $110, 50% off, for my mom's birthday since she doesn't really need anything too fancy, just easy to use and functional. But can I just say I love how quick the tabs load on this little dude? I can have multiple tabs open and hardly experience any buffer on any operating tab. Streaming on youtube, netflix, or any video streaming website is pretty seemless aswell! Also, the folding and touch screen feature really work together like a charm, making me and my mom's binge watching endeavors so much more enjoyable on this chromebook! It's like a tablet/laptop! Only problem with it is I wish I bought myself one too! So small, compact, quick loading speeds, lightweight, and doesn't get hot from usage! Not to mention it charges within an hour's time, and the battery lasts pretty long even while using it to stream online videos/movies! Display is a decent 720...which is not really an issue for the user of this chromebook, considering that the screen display size is under 11 inches. Only time I can imagine 720p being an issue is when mirroring a video from the computer onto a tv or larger monitor...in which case the quality of the image will clearly suffer a much more obvious downgrade when mirrored onto a larger monitor...in which case, if you plan on using it for mirroring then I imagine a chromebook with higher pixel rate would be more accomadating. However, we have other older chromebook models with that capability, so its not an issue for us...not to mention mirroring would be too much of a hassle, considering that an adapter would be necessary since this chromebook does not have an HDMI output. Oh, and I guess the only down side is actually the placement of the build in speakers, which are located right where the keyboard is, so when you do use the folding feature, the sound output is not as strong since the sound waves are flowing towards the opposite direction. In some cases, the sound might become a bit muffled, too, if place right on your lap without being careful where the speakers are located...but for the most part, this has not occurred. Even so, even when the sound output flows away from you because you've folded the laptop over 360 degrees as a tablet, the sound is still pretty lou, clear, and good. If you do need anything louder, which I doubt isnt necessary for most common folk, then headphones are always a great option, or maybe compatible bluetooth speakers...but my niece, mom, and I were able to stream an anime series on this device comfortably.
