A teriffic computer!

My daughter bought this computer for me as a gift. And what a gift it is! So far I'm very impressed with this computer. It is the first Lenovo I have ever owned. I've wanted an all-in-one computer for quite some time. I've been researching them and watching the price and quality for several years. I like the footprint of this computer. It takes up very little room and there are not a lot of cords cluttering up my desk. The monitor is very sharp and easy to read and the image quality is superb! It is very responsive. I don't know what else to say except, I'm so glad I have it.

I purchased and returned this computer. I understand I did not spend top dollar on a high level system but I couldn't get over 3 issues which were deal-breakers for me. Other, less fussy people are likely to be happy with this very solid system1. LCD panel was very muted. I had to lower my brand new Lenovo LCD to 50% brightness to match the AIO. This was my biggest issue.2. Audio was very poor and made a "buzzing" noise when volume was up. Speakers are comparable to those on a cheap laptop.3. Camera is poor. I compared to HP and DELL and they both performed better than LENOVO.

Lenova High Quality PC
12 April 2023

This PC is awesome. Perfect screen size and the resolution is beautiful. Easy to set up and get started, takes only a few minutes. The games I play on this PC run flawlessly. Also, the audio is extremely high quality, you don't require external speakers. There are only 2 USB ports, however, would of been nice with a couple more, but it's usually not an issue. I would definitely recommend this PC to anyone looking for a high quality 4k (QHD) PC.

Lenovo is inferior
30 December 2022

I bought this computer because I thought it was the best. Far from it. The display screen they said was bright was dull and noticeable darker all my other computers. the camera was so dull and dark it was as if there was behind a vail. I thought customer service would see it and fix. I would have replaced it but they looked at it remotely and said that was the way they were suppose to be. I've never owned a computer that was not far superior to this Lenovo. I went to best buy and found all other computers to be bright and camera sharp and bright. I will never buy Lenovo again. Customer service is totally inept.

New Lenovo IdeaCentre 5, 24inch

Great new computer - easy to setup, looks impressive, Windows 11 is improvement over 10. Fast especially compared to my nine year old Lenovo that just got tired and run down (we all have those days, but no coming back for this one)! Only thing I'm not crazy about is the antiglare screen guard, there should be the option of easily removing it, but Lenovo indicates that it should remain in place. I compared the configuration of this computer to Dell and HP, and the IdeaCentre has the better components for a lower sales price. Touch screen is helpful. My only problem was getting Office 2021 activated, had to deal with Lenovo and Microsoft, but Microsoft came to the rescue, evidently, they had not received the license notification from Lenovo.as product keys are not ... MoreGreat new computer - easy to setup, looks impressive, Windows 11 is improvement over 10. Sleek and efficient
14 September 2023

I've had this new all-in-one for a couple weeks and love it. It has more computing power than I need -- I am not a big games person and use it for research, writing, surfing the web and Zoom meetings -- but I like that it boots up quickly and is totally silent. Once I figured out how to activate the wireless keyboard and mouse everything worked smoothly. It looks elegant and I have much more room on my desk than I used to with my old computer. As a writer I'm impressed with the keyboard, which feels substantial and springy, with just the right resistance when typing. Very pleased with this purchase.

Sturdy well made IdeaCentre AIO 5i Intel (24″)
17 March 2023

This purchase was for my husband that has used a tablet in the past(never used a computer)- he needed a larger screen plus better access to the websites he uses so I purchased the IdeaCentre AIO 5i 24" - best choice for him. It took him no time at all to get used to the computer. It is compact, looks good and was easy to setup for his needs plus the price was right. (Purchased when on sale). Used mostly for YouTube, emails and internet searches. Easy to set up our printer to his system via WiFi - he's extremely happy with the purchase. It comes with a quiet keyboard and mouse ( no wires ) uses a small transmitter plugged into the computer for wireless connections. The keyboard charges via USB-C ( the charge lasts for a 1-2 months depending on use) and the mouse ... MoreThis purchase was for my husband that has used a tablet in the past(never used a computer)- he needed a larger screen plus better access to the websites he uses so I purchased the IdeaCentre AIO 5i 24" - best choice for him. It has a sturdy stand so no worries about tipping over. I would recommend to anyone needing a computer for their home

Substandard parts and even worse repairs
17 April 2023

I *really* wanted to like this laptop. It worked great for 3 weeks and then the fan broke and it stopped working. I have never, ever had a brand new computer break down like this. In fact, I've never had a computer fan break. However, the worst was yet to come. I don't know what is going on at the repair depot, but it isn't their job. So far I've sent the computer back TWICE to be repaired AND EACH TIME IT COMES BACK BROKEN. So I have had this computer for 4 months and been able to use it for 3 weeks. It's still at the depot. Stay away.PS Additionally one of the keyboard keys popped off just a few weeks after use. I was able to get it back on but again, this is something that has never, ever happened to me with a computer and it should never happen either.

Very nice AIO
17 September 2023

Overall, very happy with the 27" 5i. Two features that helped make me pick this unit was the wireless charging base and the JBL speakers. Place the phone on the base and it charges. Great feature. Unfortunately, I'm not thrilled with the JBL speakers. Wasn't expecting them to sound like a pair of L-112's but they sound worse than I'd hoped for. The JBL name and Lenovo describing how good they sound maybe overinflated my expectation. Makes me wonder if the Yoga 32" with the 4 Harmon Kardon speakers would have been a better choice for me. But except for the sound quality a nice computer.
