The Tab4 10" Plus is a great tablet for the price. (Don't confuse it with the older Tab4 10" – the Plus is a newer and better specced device.) If / when Lenovo fix the 5 GHz wi-fi problem, this will be a five-star review!

I had purchased the 8 inch Tab 4 plus and I was considering a Chromebook for work-related activities. Then, I saw that the Tab 4 10 plus was on sale at a really great price. I purchased it, added a 128G micro SD card, and got a good solid case that would allow me to view the screen at a stable angle. I already had a compact, folding Bluetooth keyboard that paired with the Tab 4 without a problem. I see no need to get a Chromebook now. I have a good, fast and dependable mobile office setup with all the advantages of a tablet. One minor note: the tablet came configured for the AT&T network. I'm not using a SIM card, but the extra AT&T stuff doesn't affect tablet function. I recommend this tablet as long as it is available.

Similar screen resolution (1920 x 1200) to the Nexus 7 - better than current "small" tablets from Samsung and slightly more system RAM than the Nexus (2 GB vs. 1.5 GB). 8 cores do provide for speedy responses and the fingerprint sensor works well. Build quality is good and the tablet uses USB-C so no more micro USB! It does not support wireless charging, unfortunately. I recommend findling one that has had the upgrade to Android Oreo completed since that includes the security updates into 2019, unlike Nougat-based machines that have had no security updates since 2017. My assessment: The screen is great, processing and boot up speeds are very good and the battery usage is awesome. Not too much bloatware. Unlike other 10" tablets, the Tab 4 has generous margins around the screen on all sides which I like so I can hold it comfortably in portrait or landscape without worrying about accidently clicking on something.
