I have a $600 phone that, aside from phone calls, doesn't do much more than this tablet. It may be faster, but that hardly matters for web browsing, book-reading, watching movies, playing music. I got the Asus ZenBook 3s 10 tablet when it was released in August 2016. It had an incredible 9.7 inch IPS LCD display with a 1536 x 2048 resolution. I bought 2 of these, one for each kid. When they arrived I was impressed with the quality given the price. My kids are 4 and 2 so I did not want to buy anything expensive because all I need the tablets for are Netflix and Disney+. Downloaded each app and both apps do not play video on both tablets. I researched everything and other people have the same problem. Tried every troubleshooting technique and nothing worked. I do not want any other streaming app like Youtube because things on the internet these days are questionable. The apps will play sound but no video and the M10 plus 3rd gen is the only tablet with this problem. I guess you get what you pay for. It booted up just fine, setup was okay, but not the easiest. The screen worked for the touch sensitivity everywhere so that was a good sign. It was a little cheaper feeling than I expected from a better known brand but figured it was 99 dollars you get what you pay for. So I setup the tablet, and as a test I try crunchyroll, Shonen jump, kindle, Netflix and YouTube as that is mostly what I want to use. YouTube, crunchyroll and Netflix all studdered even on the recommended 480p settings. Nothing else running in the background by the way, I tried all the apps separately for this test. The price, was $120 while this Lenovo was on sale for $99. I've been using my cheap, no-name tablet for several weeks now, and it's been just lovely. It does everything I needed, is faster and more responsive than the M10, has the needed storage space, and guess what, the microsd card slot works!

I bought this to use around the house for watching videos and general web browsing.So far, I've been impressed by quality of the screen and audio. The display has a crisp resolution, text and HD videos look sharp and well defined. Even at full volume, audio sounds full bodied without the tinniness common on cell phones.Battery life is good, I usually get 2-3 days between charges with a mix of reading, watching videos, and gaming.The only drawback to this tablet is that the CPU is sometimes underpowered. It'll sometimes show a notification that background apps have been throttled in order to keep the current app working best. This is especially noticable when playing graphic intensive games, where the frame rate will often drop significantly. I wanted a $100 or less tablet that had good battery life, decent 10" display and good performance as it would be used to live stream home security cameras throughout the day. For me, this one crushed it!In store I compared the performance and display quality between the 8" Lenovo tablet to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. In the end I felt the Lenovo had snappier performance and better graphics overall. As the store did not have the 8" on hand, they did have this one and I could not be any more satisfied.Performance on this device is very good and the display absolutely looks far better than two other previous tablets purchased in short period from Walmart for my purposes. The battery life is very strong as well as I can go about 12 hours from 100% down to around 12-14" of live streaming throughout the day.As for software, the beauty of Lenovo (and their Motorola devices) is that you get more of a pure Android experience - meaning that unlike most manufacturers, you do not get extra software from the manufacturer which duplicates the existing software that comes with the operating system in the first place. And I really believe that played a factor when I compared this device to the A7. For example: Lenovo devices come with the stock Play Store, web browser and so does the A7. However, Samsung also adds THEIR version of Play Store and their browser all in addition to that which comes standard in the OS. For me, bloatware takes away from a device's storage and performance because those extra apps are also loaded each time the device starts thus potentially hampering performance. It's just plain unnecessary in my book.The Lenovo feels like a high quality product for far less. Great graphics, very strong battery performance, snappy response in a 10" display at an excellent price point makes this a winner for me. Only thing I would recommend is getting a case for this as the body is very smooth and its thinness plus light weight may put you at risk of accidentally dropping it.
