I've had a Tab A for many years. It was time to get something better. The Lenovo P12 was at a price point that I could afford. I love having a bigger screen since I watch TV and do a lot of reading on my tablet. The sound system is superior to my old tablet. With 256GB of storage all my stuff fit on the tablet without having to use a memory card. I've always used a stylus so having the included Precision Pen is a nice touch. The one area where I am disappointed is the battery life, it's about the same as my 5 year old tablet. Shame on Lenovo for cheaping out on the battery on an otherwise excellent product.I hope a case becomes available soon because it's hard to prop up the tablet to be able to use it, you've got to wonder why they don't just include one since ... I've been looking for a reasonably priced tablet for the last 9 months. Purchased the Amazon Fire Tablet, took it back as the Fire Tablet 11 was announced. Saw the specs, and didn't think it was worth 250. This unit went on sale for similar price open box as Amazon Fire 11 Tablet. I got it for 265 after tax and gift card.Pros: Large and beautiful screen. While it's no OLED, but it's certain better than TFT LCD screens found Samsung Galaxy 8 11 inch tablet. Next is capacity, 256 GBs standard plus expansion to 1 TB. Next is battery life, night viewing I watched 4 hours worth of content and had 63% battery life left at 60% brightness. They claim 10 plus hours, that might be true. Last pro, wireless display and with audio was better than expected. Yes so lag, but not ... Yes so lag, but not as much as I've experienced the past with older tablets.Cons: Accessories are limited, found a case for it, but I don't the case. New case comes out in January with Keyboard attachment. Graphical performance, compared to Amazon tablet, this is faster. However, I tried a few games that run great on my Samsung S20 Ultra phone on this device, and it was twice as slow. My phone is over 3 years old, so I'm not thrilled about the GPU performance. Last issue, memory, while 8 gigs is nice, if you try to be a power user with this device, you will run into performance hiccups. Did the dual screen with multiple apps open from Google, Youtube, Hulu, and Outlook.

Excellent value mid range tablet. The battery standby time is brilliant, as is usual with Lenovo tablets (This is my 3rd lenovo tablet over the last 8ish years). The screen is massive. The pen works well for what I need it for. The UI is quick and responsive. I play games occasionally too with the kids and it handles those well. All round, just incredible value for what I paid for it.

I recently purchased the Lenovo P12 tablet, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. Firstly, the fingerprint sensor's perfect placement makes unlocking the device a breeze. But what truly sets this tablet apart for me is the background sound for focus, which has been a game-changer in managing my ADHD. I've even dubbed it "ADHD friendly" to my friends. However, I made a mistake by not ordering the tablet with the keyboard. Don't make the same error – the keyboard enhances its versatility and productivity, making it an even more valuable companion for work and play. With its impressive features and the keyboard, this tablet has truly won me over.
Really a 4.5 at this early stage.Large screen that is beautiful and very crisp touch sensitivity. Everything I tap is what I tap, the fingerprint sensor works every time I use it. Very light. Very snappy. Feels a little fragile, but construction and wear so far do not indicate that it is.I feel this is best bang for pixel tablet out there right now, Powerful processor/ram combo, large 12.7" screen, not OLED but very pretty IPS screen. Along with the Android support for two generations and 4-5 years security updates.Like it a lot.
I bought it for my wife to use for a small business start up and to keep things separate from our personal phones/devices. Smooth operating, gorgeous picture for media, vibrant colors. Overall a really good tablet plus it comes with a pen that other companies seem to be charging an arm and a leg for. Pen connects easily, has its own charging slot on the tablet itself, and is comfortable to use. I'm very happy with the purchase and will be being more products from this company in the future
I purchased this tablet because of the relatively affordable price and the large screen for displaying sheet music. I added a Bluetooth pedal for hands free paging and Mobile Sheets software for managing the music library and displaying the sheets.I've used it in performances outdoors in open shade and found the contrast acceptable. It would be difficult to use in direct sunlight (paper wins). It's a pleasure to use indoors especially when a stand light would have been required with paper music.I turned off smooth scrolling between pages, because it was too jerky to read while scrolling. It may be due to a slower refresh rate or just the screen technology. The screen is tall and narrow which has been a benefit since I can see the top line or two of the next ... It may be due to a slower refresh rate or just the screen technology. The screen is tall and narrow which has been a benefit since I can see the top line or two of the next page before I jump to the next page. This makes page turning easier to follow. The pen works well, but I wish was had a different mounting location. The pen is magnetic and only attaches where shown. I frequently brush off the pen when putting the tablet (now in a case with a pen cutout) into my instrument case. For marking up music the pen is a must. It's nice that the pen charges wirelessly when attached to the tablet. The battery life is okay, not great. I'd guess the tablet can display music for about 4 to 5 hours on a full charge. That's long enough for most rehearsals and performances, but I need to make sure it is topped off before longer rehearsals or performances. I could easily connect an external battery to extend the life. The screen is shiny, but I have not had trouble reading it.The CPU performance is great for how I use it. It loads a setlist in a blink and boots quickly. The fingerprint sensor is on the power button and I've had mixed success using it.I also tried face unlock with mixed success. I think its because I use the table in portrait orientation and the camera is more in the landscape orientation.Overall, I like the tablet and it works for what I needed. I'm pleased it has not frozen or crashed in weeks of usage.I gave it 4 of 5 stars because of the pen mounting location, somewhat disappointing battery like, and somewhat unreliable biometric/face unlock.
Nice sharp large screen. Speakers are great. Not really used the pen but seems to work OK. Charges a lot quicker than the galaxy tab s7 fe it replaces. Battery is OK but drains a bit when watching films with high brightness. Screen doesn't go very bright so no good out in bright sunlight. Fine for indoors where I'll be using mine anyway.
I took a discount and ordered one. I read the review and I had some doubts especially battery, but I gave it a try (ordered a full kit), and I can send it back if I don't like it. I received a kit and I did some test especially on cable channels and streaming. I am glad it works well. Display is crisp (it can take 1440p), and I can't tell the color difference between this unit and P11 Pro Gen 2 under indoor light. Speakers are good and USB-C port supports analog and digital audio, but it doesn't support TV out due to USB 2.0 standard. The full kit looks much like a netbook but keyboard is actually good, but touchpad has some issue of clicking by mistake. ZUI is new on this unit and I think I like it, but 3 button navigation is always on the right bottom and I don't ... MoreI took a discount and ordered one. ZUI is new on this unit and I think I like it, but 3 button navigation is always on the right bottom and I don't know how to change it, so I use gesture instead (and it works better when playing videos). Included pen cannot be used on older Lenovo Android tablet (P11 Plus, Yoga 11, P11 Pro Gen 2). You can attach the pen on the back but the pen included requires USB-C charging. The unit can take USB-PD charging and it charges rather quickly. Battery isn't that bad as online reviews and I am a heavy user. So you ask me should I recommend it? Yes if you use it for media and light laptop use (it's like netbook). You won't be disappointed.
Bought this less than a month ago, and now it is on sale. Oh well. Other than that, I am very satisfied. The size and quality of the display make this a great choice for watching movies or reading graphic novels/comic books. I do not play games that make high demands on the processor, so I can't comment on that. The battery life could be better. I get 1 and a half days normal use out of it versus 2 days on my 11" Lenovo tablet, but I use it primarily at home so I can always plug it in. I own several Lenovo tablets and have found them all to be excellent products.
