I purchased this to get a portable, well made machine that runs Linux. Have been buying these for the office for years now and they have been some of the most reliable laptops, with flawless docking solutions. Thinkpads in general have some of the most loved keyboards as well. And the hardware for the price is a great value.

Quality Thinkpad for great price. AMD processor, good keyboard and screen offers a great experience and great value. This is our 5th Thinkpad and we're not disappointed. Sorry we didn't select backlit keyboard but minor nit to pick.
Does everything my son needs to start college. Bought it with a bit higher specs so it will last the whole time. If it's a fraction as well built as the original IBM Thinkpads, then that shouldn't be a problem!SO far, so good!
Like the new low pro look of these laptops. Still wish the ready to ship units came on black but it is what it is. Functions as expected and feels really solid. I only buy ThinkPad for our entire company for the simple fact that they last and are easy to fix.
Very good computer with very reasonable price. I get around 8hr of battery time with 57wh battery pack. Device is very lightweight and ideal screen size. Not too big and not too small. Its AMD processor is more than enough for any daily task. My only pet peeve is it's screen quality. It has a matte covering to avoid screen reflection but which is nice I guess but it also makes the display a little bit grainy.
I needed a travel laptop with enough resources to help investigate some reliability problems in a codebase I was unfamiliar with. The ThinkPad E14 Gen 5 is light, quiet, and has enough power and screen space to allow me to do just that. Being pre-loaded with Windows 11 Pro was a bonus.
Great size and price. Powerful enough for our staff to use accessing multiple cloud-based platforms simultaneously and also run/attend virtual meetings.
