I’m disappointed! Long start up, lagging, sloooow! I’ve heard of the amazing things that Lenovo laptops do. Unfortunately, mine didn’t hold up to all the hype. It takes its time when logging on, freezes, slow surfing the internet, and lags. I’m in the nursing program at school so everything is done online. It’s kind of annoying but it is what it is. I don’t want to add extra frustration and headaches to my plate due to dealing with a slow laptop, that should be preforming at a higher standard!

Ambivalent feelings!Bought without OS to run it with Ubuntu (Sept 2024).OS works great on it as for specs. It turns out a decent machine to use for office work/home use. Decent size, light weight.I would give it 5 star with pleasure, but I can't get microphone to work... System doesn't recognise it. Headset one works great though. Didn't have that problem with my old Lenovo laptop. (I admit I'm no IT wizz but until now I managed to work out all ubuntu issues on my PCs for over 10 years - this time I hit the wall).I made one mistake: upgraded the case to aluminium! Feels great but... Every time I touch it I leave my fingerprints, so endless wiping...Very quick delivery, about a week from China (from order).I love the idea that customer can change the components ... MoreAmbivalent feelings!Bought without OS to run it with Ubuntu (Sept 2024).OS works great on it as for specs. It turns out a decent machine to use for office work/home use. Lenovo.com. I created an account, put my machine together online to my liking, no problem. Made a payment, order went through and then... Few minutes later I went to access Lenovo's website and this is what I saw:"Access Denied. You don't have permission to access www.lenovo.com/us/en/" on this server."My heart stopped! Did I just pay £800 to some scam? As it turns out I needed to restart my router (foun the solution onlie). Still don't know why it happened, so I guess 3 stars, tops, for Lenovo.com

I ordered this laptop on tax free weekend in my state (Aug 12), hoping to get it before I left home on Aug 27th. It "guaranteed" delivery within 6 or so days, but despite having it in stock Lenovo didn't mail it for weeks, only sending it after several phone calls. Eventually, it arrived the day after I left, and I had to organize an odd and circuitous route to eventually get it. Now, I have received it. And I have to say, I really don't have many problems with the actual device! It has great speed, good camera quality, the keys are nice and all work. It's generally a really good computer. My only complaint about the device itself is its low battery life, though that may just be because the only laptop I'd used for the past four years was a chromebook and the ... MoreI ordered this laptop on tax free weekend in my state (Aug 12), hoping to get it before I left home on Aug 27th. And I have to say, I really don't have many problems with the actual device! It has great speed, good camera quality, the keys are nice and all work. It's generally a really good computer. My only complaint about the device itself is its low battery life, though that may just be because the only laptop I'd used for the past four years was a chromebook and the battery is basically the best thing about them. Anyway, great computer. If I was rating only the device, it would be 9/10. But the poor delivery and service knocks it down a lot.
We bought four of these laptops for our small organization, and in the few weeks we've been using them they've been great! Fast shipping, easy setup, helpful customer support. We went with the Lenovo ThinkPad because of it's strong reputation as a quality business computer. We like the full number pad included on the keyboard, multiple ports on the side, fingerprint login, and built-in camera cover. Easily connected to an external monitor, keyboard, and wireless mouse. Quality feel to the construction, reasonable weight for it's size (feels mid to light weight), and nice size screen. Highly recommended.
Thus far, I like this computer. I am having trouble converting from a 14-inch keyboard as the larger keyboard includes a number pad. The upper right corner was always a delete button; now, it is a backspace key. I am old-school and like to use the keyboard for most activities. I know I will adapt but it will take a bit of time as will the touch screen. I was able to transfer the data fairly easily but I did use drop box for transfer of a lot of bulk data. I did not see clear instructions on how the transfer of data would occur but it definitely is not the olden days.
Great sales assistance over the phone. Black Friday pricing encouraged me to make the purchase. Product arrived quickly as promised. Been running without a hitch for a couple weeks now. I run a couple monitor off the laptop for stock trading and often have 10 or so windows working. So far, so good. My only complaint is that the keyboard has small flat keys so it is noticeably less comfortable to do typing chores with this new machine as my 9yr old Lenovo. And, I would have chosen a keyboard without a number pad if the option had been available - just personal preference.
I cannot say enough positive things about my new Lenovo ThinkPad! It provides every imaginable and useful feature that makes logging in simple, computing easy, web surfing fun, and working from home not feel like a drag. The fingerprint sensor, the perfect touchscreen sensitivity, high chassis quality, excellent camera quality, comfortable keyboard with extra numbers for accounting functionality, and the overall performance and quality are reliable and consistent. It is a replacement for my Lenovo Yoga which I had for nearly 10 years. This new ThinkPad is slick, sleek, and gives me all the functionality I could need. I don’t game so this device is perfect for all of my needs.
I've been using this for work for about a month now. I came from a 5 year old ideapad gaming laptop prior to this. I'm a self contractor who works from home with the ocasional travel and use it mostly for working in excel sheets in my line of work. It's a few leaps better than my old ideapad. The first thing I noticed was how sturdy the hinge is when opening/closing the lid. Overall quality seems very good, especially when purchased on a sale. A client of mine commented on how crisp my camera is on this. I have the best camera quality now in my group meetings. The only complaint I have is with the battery life. I've been getting about 4 - 4.5hours on a charge working in spreadhseets and online browsing. While I'm plugged in 99% of my time I wish this machine had the ... MoreI've been using this for work for about a month now. I came from a 5 year old ideapad gaming laptop prior to this. I have used ThinkPad laptops at work for many years. This is my first one for personal use. I wanted a 16" display, 16G RAM, 512GB Disk Space, and a good combo of USB C & A ports. So far this laptop meets all my requirements. I have it connected to a 24" external display in extended mode, external keyboard and multi port adapter. Battery life is decent about 6 hrs. I don't use it for gaming, just office apps, browsing and streaming. I have seeing some bleeding at the edges of the laptop display when restarting, but nothing while using or at least it has not bothered me. My only complaints are, that one of the USB-C ports is used to charge the battery, the ThinkPads I used at work had their own power port. The other is that the ports are close together, so when I need to remove the thumb drive I need to lift the laptop to grab the thumb drive from the top and bottom instead of the sides to pull it out. I do see finger spots on the cover and next to the track pad, but they are easily cleaned with a soft cloth lightly moist. Other than that I am happy with the laptop.
