Bought this product after reading so many "great life changing reviews". I suffer from moderate to severe bloating. First time taking this I followed all instructions, took it with water. Immediately my stomach started swelling up. I did pass air, but it made me even more bloated. Thought might be a first time thing. Tried it again for the next three days with hope in my heart. Made me super constipated I had to buy a laxative. Never again.

I bought this after reading reviews. I suffer severe IBS-C, and this product has definitely helped the constipation, in fact I think I was taking too many, 4 per day, because after several days it caused explosive diarrhoea. So I'm now going to try 2 per day. It hasn't, in my case, cured my IBS unfortunately. I still suffer cramps and gas. The only thing that helps with that, for me, is Colofac (mebeverin) which I get under prescription. It can be bought, but at 6 for just 15 tablets (Boots own is 5) - 5 day supply - it's expensive, plus the pharmacy will only sell one pack at a time.

I bought this because I suffer from occasional constipation, and thought it was a good way to encourage me to drink extra water that also contains natural fiber and probiotics. The taste was okay for me, as I'm used to drinking 'woody' teas, which I'd compare the Lepicol flavor to. Maybe for those who don't like the taste, you could squeeze some orange (or similar) in. The packet advises starting at a low dose, and so I tried half a sachet. I'm not sure if it was because of the sachet, but within 30 minutes of consuming, I needed the loo. My plan is just to take one sachet per week or per month depending on the need, so as to make the box last. I wanted to increase my fibre intake and also clear out my sluggish digestive system so bought this after reading the reviews. I wasn't disappointed! This literally worked overnight after only one scoop. It doesn't really have a flavour, but I find the texture unpleasant as it doesn't mix well in to liquid, rather just makes a thick grainy sludge. The first time, I added it to my usual protein shake, but it changed the texture of the shake making it far less enjoyable. Since then I've taken it as more of a shot mixed with about 200ml of water, and then flushed down with nearly a pint of water, and having my shake separately afterwards. I would highly recommend lepicol powder for anyone with sluggish bowel movements or constipation. *If you're using it for the first time, it may make you windy at first, but if you Keep with it you will get results. sometimes I combine a morning colon massage before taking lepicol to help wake my body up too.* I understand how frustrating it can be and to want an instant fix, but it's also important to be gentle on our bodies and not damage them with harsh laxatives (I've felt the intense pain). So it's worth the patience trust me. On a side note I also use the lepicol capsules when I go on holiday, just because they're easier to transport and take when away.

So here's the thing...just had surgery. Hernia. This is a wonderful product which I have used often. Unfortunately on this occasion the lazy delivery guy left it at the rear of the property behind the wheelie bin which had been left out for the bin men. I only realised this the day AFTER delivery and just prior to the arrival of the bin men. This is the exact opposite of the delivery instructions I have given MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP. It delayed using the product by 12 hours and makes me question membership of Express. As usual, MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP have made it difficult to complain by other means than this. HOWEVER, Lepicol is a lifesaver.
This powder has been the biggest help in my fight against IBS. I've had IBS most of my life, and found very little relief. I tried prescribed medication and it made me feel sick. I take one teaspoon of this powder after my final meal of the day (mixed with water and black current cordial) and the next morning i'm 'regular' and things move along fast. Also noticed decreased bloating and pain in my digestive system and i feel that my gut flora is much more balanced and healthy. I highly recommend this for those of you with digestive issues.
This stuff is amazing. I've tried lots of different products that claim to add fibre to your diet and help alleviate constipation but I never seem to notice much of a difference, if any at all. However, since using this stuff my poos have been sliding out like wet soap out of a convict's hands. I add a teaspoon to my protein shake along with a teaspoon of another powder called fibre boost plus a tablespoon of chia seeds once a day and it works an absolute treat. Feeling better already.
