The bed itself seems to be of a high enough quality as I assembled it yesterday. Too early to tell how long before something goes wrong, if at all. What I can state however is that the instructions are terrible, especially the diagrams for the corner plates. T&W should invest in photographs to be added to the instructions, rather than these amateurish sketches. Also, click-on connections wherever possible would be much cleverer instead of screws and cut down installation time significantly. Also, the base sheet does not have holes where the bed's feet are to be screwed in/through. Installation time was 3 hours and I'm handy with on the tools so can only imagine what some folks are facing.

Ordered the dark grey and was slightly darker than expected but overall a nice bed. Had read reviews about the instructions not being all that clear - initially thought what is everyone going on about until half way through and had to basically start again. Would think that with all the comments about instructions being poor, they would have done something about it but that is my only complaint.

To say the assembly of this bed nearly caused divorce is an understatement! The instructions are a little lax as mentioned by other buyers. Looking on YouTube is helpful. It would be beneficial to mention that the base of the bed is actually fabric. Not exactly of high quality, however I feel it needs mentioning. The quality of the bed is 'what you pay for'. In other words, it is light wood which we have warned our daughter not to go jumping on her bed as it may fall apart. More because the materials/wood doesn't feel very strong. The bed presents well and our daughter loved her surprise from camp and my styling. ;)

Great. I put together by myself just a gal and her Alan keyHaha. But no dramas. Looks great. As in pictures. Lift works great. So far so good. Huge space under.
We absolutely love the TV unit. It is perfect for our living room, sturdy and look really nice with other furnitures. It is so easy to install, with clear instructions and labelled parts. We definitely recommend it. The bed frame comes exactly as shown. Took a while to figure out the not-so-clear instructions but definitely worth the time and effort. Big storage, sturdy and looks elegant.
Good quality bed, having read previous reviews about assembly I checked the pictures of how to assemble, but missed one vital thing, the sides can only be fitted one way, as the holes need to align for the gas strut assembly, its obvious when you think about it, but easy to miss. The only other confusing thing is the wooden feet that are supplied, as there are no holes to attach them to, and if fitted, would only allow lightweight items to be stored, as the base would be raised off the floor and the underside of the frame is only covered with a black cloth, fixed with velcro. But when assembled looks and feels good. The extra storage space it gives you is excellent. For the price is fantastic
It looks lovely and works perfectly now that it is up. However it took a good 3-4 hours to assemble. They give you 2 tiny tools to assemble the product. The instructions are SO POOR it's unbelievable I've never seen anything as bad. I had to google different beds instructions to try figure things out and zoom into the pictures online to make sure the parts were in the correct way. Also, it would be useful if they explained to you to put the mattress onto the bed once you've made it up, it literally will not go down and close without a huge amount of weight on it the first time.Obviously, it looks lovely and hopefully it won't give any problems just think they could invest a bit more money in clearer instructions or a YouTube video like some company's have.
Great storage and excellent communication with the provider. The bed is quite low and my high mattress hid the headboard a fair bit. Overall it’s great value for money however the handle to lift the bed isn’t great and falls off easily, unfortunately the alternative strap to lift it also snapped upon first use. I have managed to work around this so it’s no drama, but I would say the initial ‘lift’ options could be better
Received from a relative as they had a spare and we just upsized to a Queen mattress. This bed looks nice in the pictures, and looks OK once put together. However...as a mechanical engineer, I can confidently say this is the most poorly designed product I have ever had the displeasure of assembling. It took two people THREE HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES to put together! The very sturdy double bed that I took apart was 8 bolts into pre-attached brackets, and required the removal of 8 slats from pre-secured locations. This bed has 62 bolts, 26 slats requiring 39 attachments, to be installed into badly punched holes, and on-the-whole it feels very flimsy after putting it all together. One of the pre-inserted nuts for the legs had debris in it which stripped the thread, so ... MoreReceived from a relative as they had a spare and we just upsized to a Queen mattress. This bed has 62 bolts, 26 slats requiring 39 attachments, to be installed into badly punched holes, and on-the-whole it feels very flimsy after putting it all together. One of the pre-inserted nuts for the legs had debris in it which stripped the thread, so I'll need to redrill that hole if I want the fourth leg installed. The inner bracket for the bed doesn't fit well. The brackets for the gas lift were bent out of shape, and I had to manually bend them back to be square enough that the bolts would actually extend through the frame so I could secure the nut to them. The base-cover is attached by velcro but doesn't have pre-drilled holes for the legs, so you either have to pull it back where the supports are, or puncture holes through it yourself. The material for the head board and skirting smells, but hopefully this will go away in a few days. The fact I'm mentioning the instructions this far down should tell you how bad the build quality is - but the instructions are just as bad. The drawings look like they're from a 3D model, but based on how poor the scale/perspective is, I can only assume they were put together in a 2D program and have no scale whatsoever. The images give such poor context that my relative had to disassemble theirs after installing the L-brackets upside-down (the flat plate goes on the bottom for anyone wondering). We lucked-out that we installed the inner frame correctly, because it was only afterwards that we realised it was possible to have one of the long members backwards, which would have required disassembly to fix. Some of the holes and metal surfaces have not been deburred and thus have sharp edges. If I didn't have calloused fingers I would have cut myself at least twice. All said, I'm not buying another product from this company. I would have paid twice the price to spend 20 minutes putting something together, which is the time it took to assemble my last bed. Bunnings probably wouldn't sell this product if they knew how bad it is.
