from some years ago was perfect, and would get paler over time, and could eventually rip at the right place, and would hold the leg/butt firmly and nicely. This is NOT actual
jeans! It's like a strechy black material that doesnt fade and would never rip, it doesnt hold the body nicely like actual old-school jeans. It's full of elastane and whatever else.
PLEASE bring back real black jeans, the ones that fade and can rip over time. If you want to stay the kings of jeans you have to serve actual jeans!!

This was due to the sizing being off on the black/grey pair I bought. Not this pair though. So if sizing is off the exchange process was very simple by mail. The only complaint and this is with every clothing company pretty much can you please stop making wholes on products with the tags!!! There has to be a better way to do this and not damage the pants. Thank you so much for making the most amazing jeans in my opinion!! :)

These jeans look lovely, yes. But they stain EVERYTHING blue, no matter how many times you wash them. And I mean EVERYTHING - skin, clothes, shoes, walls, furniture. It's awful. I bought them, noticed the dye transfer but thought I'd give them a few washes given some jeans do have some dye transfer until washed a few times. However, after numerous washes these did not get better. I then contacted John Lewis for a refund, which they refused to give me as I was slightly outside the 30 day window, despite the fact that these jeans literally turn everything they touch blue. Ridiculous. Save your money.

I am only giving this 3 stars because of the hassle I had to deal with these jeans. I love how they fit! The issue was that they arrived with the security tag still attached! I don't have a Macys near me so I contacted customer service, they told me to go to "any" store and ask them to remove the device. I went to Kohls and they were unable to remove it. They told me that I wasn't the first person who needed help removing the device! Luckily they told me that the type of security device that was on my jeans did not have the ink inside, so "you should try pliers to remove it" I was really upset about this! My husband had to use a dremel to finally remove it. I am very disappointed with Macys customer service.

I have a mixed opinion on these Levi's. They have a much larger waist than other Levi's styles that I've purchased in the past. I bought my usual size 28, and although they fit everywhere else (wouldn't want them any tighter), the waist is huge and I have to wear a belt, which I was trying to avoid. I don't have an overly large rear end, yet it almost seems as though they are not roomy enough in the back, which makes the jeans slide down constantly. Also, I am 5'10" and have a long waist, so the mid-rise fit probably isn't the best choice to begin with. Just something to keep in mind, if you are tall. If you wear a belt with these and they stay where they are supposed to be, they do give a nice shape though - I give them that!

For years I've worn Levi's 711 Skiinny Jeans and Levi's Jeggings (up through my 40s). As I grew older and my body changed, neither Jean fit me correctly anymore, whether sizing up or down (thighs too tight or waist too big).Stubborn me finally bit the bullet and tried on Levi's 311 at a local Macy's and OMG they're nearly perfect! I'm 5'3", 122 lbs, 27 waist, 32 high-hip, 36 low-hip. Size 27 is a little snug getting on but within 1 hour fits perfectly! Very slimming! The only negative is that I'm still not used to mid-waist jeans. Though I'd prefer low waist, my body just isn't cut out for them anymore. The 311s come just to my belly button.Got the Bloom Black (faded black) in 27R and Maui Views (medium blue) in 27L. I'm short, but love to cuff the jeans 4 ... These jeans were way too tight in the leg. I purchased two other pair of the exact same style and same size but different colour so thought these should fit the same. I realize they were final sale, and now it is obvious why, but thought I should at least be able to exchange in the store or get a store credit like most all other stores will do. For example, Lulu Lemon on line final sale can still be returned for store credit. If you are going to sell on line then you should at least provide an in store credit for those items that were not made the same as the rest. I received no help from customer service. I will NEVER by Levi's again and will not support nor endorse the company. Very poor customer service and in this case product.

Should've gone by Levi's size guide & not myer fit suggestion or other store fit suggestions. The legs are perfect but waist is too big & oddly big compared to hip & seat area causing them to not sit well. The blue looks different in person but still a nice dark wash. I find Levi's, especially skinny jeans, need to fit perfectly snug otherwise they sit away from the body in a very unflattering way. Im 172cm & weigh approx 70kg for reference & perhaps a 28/32 will fit better around waist but not sure of legs as the 29/32 legs were fairly tight fitting (again odd compared to waist & seat). I think the "slimming/stomach" panel is what causes a too big waist to sit away from body & cause the unflattering look. You can actually see it happening on model a bit also giving ... Very tight no stretch throughout hips & thighs very uncomfortable to wear. I purchase a 25 x 28 and it did not fit. I really wanted a pair of white genes so purchse 3 pairs of the same style 311 in 3 different colors. The white pair are the only ones that did not fit because of how tight they are.It was very misleading that the description of these genes said that they were stretchy throughout the hips & thighs however the white pair are not stretchy throughout the hips & thigh. All other colors of the 311 style are have a soft stretch material throughout hips & thighs expcept for the white pair. The texture of the genes felt rough with no strretch making it a very uncomfortable wear.
