Three or four years ago my wife purchased for me about 4-5 slim jean types by different manufacturers. I wore them everyday. About a month ago I noticed they were showing some age. Of those she purchased the one I liked most was a Levi 511 slim, stretch. I went to my Levi app. with the old pair in hand and found an exact match. I’m 5’9”,158#, W33 / L30. I ordered 2 pair in the stretch 511. When those two arrived I took them to Sun Cleaners here in Roanoke. I picked them up when ready and they look classy. They were a very dark blue. After two weeks wear, I ordered two more pair 511’s stretch in midnight black. I’ve just gotten them back from Sun Cleaners and they are perfect. Now if you have any 511’s…or if you get any and you have never had a Kore belt to wear you ... Kore belts snug or loosen as you need them. I don’t carry a weapon now but I do wear one of my belts everyday. It’s like Levi’s were made for my Kore belts.

TL;DR - Runs small, a disappointment for gray-colored 511 jeansI purchased the "Iron Stone" color/style of a 32 x 32 pair of 511 jeans, which is the same size and style I've worn for years (and still do wear and enjoy on a nearly daily basis). This particular color/product runs very tight, tighter than a second pair of 511 jeans I bought of the same size but of a different style/color at the same time. I didn't love the feel of the fabric either, which felt stiffer than many other 511 styles I've owned. You may be able to get away with getting a slightly larger size, but I can't say whether that will work for you or not as I'm returning mine and will not be going through the process of finding one that fits better. I am keeping the other pair I purchased as it ... I am keeping the other pair I purchased as it still fits well, but it just seems this particular color style does not run true to size.Previously I've purchased several pairs of a gray 511 jean titled "Gray Black 3d" (PC9 04511-2272) which fit truer to size and was of a more comfortable material, and I enjoyed it such that I've worn through a few pairs of the same style. Unfortunately, they don't make the jean anymore and the only opportunity to purchase it is through other retailers who happen to still have it in stock. Other than that, there aren't any other darker gray options for the 511 line, which is unfortunate in my opinion.

I love the Levis 511 brand. I have several pairs which I ordered years ago and they still fit great and look great. I recently ordered two more pairs (36W x 34L; I am 6'3" tall and weigh about 190lbs):511™ Slim Fit Authentic Soft Men's Jeans (Color: Power Lines)511™ Slim Fit All Seasons Men's Jeans (Color: Fresh Blue Adapt)The length of the Power Lines pair was too short...borderline floods. I measured the inseam with a tailor ruler and the inseam measured 33.5", not 34".The length of the Fresh Blue Adapt pair was way too long...the length ran all the way down the back of my heel to the floor with plenty left over. The inseam measured 34.5+" with a tailor ruler, not 34".Interestingly, I measured the inseam of one of my old 511 pairs and the inseam measured ... MoreI love the Levis 511 brand. It's hard to order confidently when the length varies so greatly, even across a single brand (511).I returned both pairs and will put my 511 orders on hold for now.
I bought these jeans along with the same style (511 Slim Fit) in another color. This fit was completely different than the other pair, which was perfect. These jeans looked great out of the package, but when I tried them on, they were large and puffy despite being listed as slim fit. The butt and thighs were puffy, and even the waist was large. They were more like the relaxed fit jeans. I went online to return them and found that I couldn't exchange them. I decided to keep them and wash them in really hot water and dry them in a hot dryer to see if that would shrink them a bit. They still don't fit right. How can the same jeans with no change - but color - fit so differently? You would think that as much as these jeans cost, there would be some quality control. I ... I should have bought in a store where I could try them on, but when I know my size and I have bought Levis for decades, I didn't see any harm in buying them online. Lesson learned the hard way. Oh, well, there's always Carharrt to fall back on.

Why don't you make inseams smaller than 30" (at least for your Premium Jeans)? I fit best in a 28 or 29 inseam, so these bunch up at the bottom. Also, your consistency is unreliable. I can order one pair from a retailer and they may fit ok, but if I order a second pair, they'll be too big or small, despite being THE EXACT PURCHASE from the SAME RETAILER. I don't get that. I have had to just blindly order jeans and return many because 1/2 of them don't fit the same or the quality seemed different than the others. Also, it hurts my brain trying to navigate your selection options. Are premium the best quality? Where do Denizens fit into the mix? Why do some have (almost) 100% cotton, and others are a mixture of materials despite being the same jean only in a different ... These are the only jeans I wear after years of buying baggy jeans that were not flattering. I do not do hard outdoor work in these jeans, however. My tips for keeping them nice are to gently brush any dirt stains off, and do not wash them. Instead keep them in the freezer. I spray mine with Vodka twice a year while hanging up outside. I also have used a home dry cleaning solution a few times which seemed to brighten them up. Beyond that they fit great, and the color is beautiful. (Begonia Overt) The waist does seem to stretch a bit and the pants can sag after maybe 100 wearings (I get 300+ wearing out of each pair of mine before I replace them) but you can just wear a belt to solve that. A wonderful pair of jeans.
I was offered a gift voucher to purchase the Levis jeans from Levis official store, and the transaction went very smoothly and easily. Before purchase, I did the measurements to make sure I did not need to ask for exchange and must say I'm so impressed with the accuracy of these measurements provided on the website.
