probably closer to a 27” waist. Luckily I know how to tailor so I’ll be able to keep them but if you want them to fit and you are a smaller size maybe try sizing down.

I’ve always struggled with denim shorts however these are perfect! Not too short where you can see your butt as they have an extra few inches- also so flattering! Love the various waist sizes which make it easy if you’re between sizes

Due to other reviews, I thought these could be the holy grail for small waisted, big hipped gals but unfortunately, no. I tried on a 27 in stores and it felt too big, making a 26 promising. However, when I ordered the 26, it fit my waist perfectly *chefs kiss* but gave me a MAJOR wedgie. I thought it could be worth wearing them to stretch them out because the waist fit so well — and then I sat down in my car and these shorts gave me the literal worst denim bikini I’ve ever had in my life. The legs rode up so high that they basically cut the circulation off. It was a sight to see. Getting up from my car seat, the shorts STAYED in that position and I had to pick my wedgie (north and south) in front of an entire gas station of people. There is NO room for a butt on ... I am a very small woman with a small waist and big booty so I don’t know why people are saying these are great for curves. They fit me like every other pair of shorts on the market. Just a little higher rise and maybe a tiny bit more room in the thighs while standing. But no booty room. Not surprised since Levi’s never leaves room for the booty.

These are the ONLY Levi shorts that fit me, and I’m obsessed with them. For reference, I’m 5’5”, 160lbs, very athletic build (mostly muscle). My proportions are that of a body builder- tiny waist and thick booty and thighs. All other Levi’s I have to size up quite a bit just to fit my thighs, but every then I have a HUGE gap at the waist. These shorts actually fit my body type- narrow waist and they have more room on the thighs. Highly recommend if you have a serious hour glass figure.

I’m delighted I managed to purchase these denim shorts when they came back into stock in my size. In my opinion Levi’s denim shorts are the best for their price & quality. Everything about these denim shorts is perfect. The length, the fit & the colour tone are all perfect. A great summer staple gif your wardrobe.

I originally bought these last year in size 29, the size the ASOS fit finder recommended. I tried them on and seemed fine, only like a month later when I wore them noticed they loosen a lot with wear and were definitely too big. Sized down this year, they still are pretty comfortable and not too tight. Don't love the "flared" legs but they are still Levi's so look good anyway

I was very excited about receiving my order but was disappointed when trying them on. They fit nicely through my thighs and the rise is wonderful but the back is very boxy. I am pear shaped and I usually fit a 30/31 in Levi’s. However, this style does not accentuate my figure and it creates an odd “Murphy,” no other pair of Levi’s I own does this. It’s a bummer because they fabric is nice, the distressing it wonderful and it fits nicely everywhere except the back. I agree with a review about it being boxy and unflattering for sure. These are not for me :( 3 stars because the fabric and design is great, the fit is atrocious :/
